Palpa is a desolate hilly plain on the southern coast of Peru, located 20-30 km north of the famous Nazca plateau. Also, like on Nazca, geometric patterns were found on the palp, which can be seen only from a great height. And their decoding according to the laws of human logic is impossible. They were created during the period of pre-Columbian America.
Despite the fact that some scientists and journalists are trying to convince the public that the drawings and drawings on the Nazca plateau and palpa are the work of Indian shamans, many do not agree with such conclusions. What has been created requires a technically competent approach and the creation of mysterious patterns is absolutely impossible without knowledge of the basic laws of geometry. After all, these drawings have ideal geometric proportions. They are created using a unique performance technique that has been available only in the last 50 years.
Pictures of the palp plateau were taken from space. In the pictures, you can clearly see the images of humanoid figures (there are about 10), which are located on the slopes of two nearby hills. But only one such figure was found on Nazca. The dimensions of these geoglyphs are relatively small and range from 12 to 55 m. Despite the stylized images, the locals could not create such a thing under any circumstances.
In addition, unique drawings are located on the palp plateau, which have no analogues on Nazca. First of all, it is a composition of squares and stars (eight-pointed and 16-pointed), which fit into each other and represent a complex composition over an area of about a kilometer. There are visible points on the image, which can be landmarks for a correct drawing, as well as carry hidden numerical data.
There is also a unique pattern on the plateau "Sundial" - a double spiral, conjugated with a zigzag line. Locals claim that on the solstice days the rays of the sun fall along the main axes of the drawing. It can be seen with the naked eye that this figure is a mathematically verified figure and its very presence can be a key moment in unraveling the secrets of the palp plateau.
At one end of the geoglyph there is a small image of a human head with two high "Horns", and under it is a wriggling snake. Such designs are typical in the former capital of the Incas, Cuzco, but are nowhere to be found on Nazca. Around this figure there are dozens of lines and stripes that diverge in all directions for hundreds of kilometers.
Tour pilots say they discover new, previously unknown images on the plateau every year. For example, one pilot claims that he saw on the palp an image of an animal that resembles a sauropod dinosaur.
Flying over the palpa, you can also see that the tops of the hills have an unusual shape. They are absolutely flat, as if cut off by some unknown mechanism. On one of these peaks there is a mysterious geoglyph - a rectangular "Table". It consists of intersecting 36 transverse and 15 longitudinal dashed lines. Thus, a table of many crosses is formed. Surprisingly, from the air, this table shines as if it were made of shale rocks. Next to it is a "Bundle" of thin lines overlapping the image of a person, and on top of these lines is an image of a circle surrounded by eight small squares.

Flying over the plateau, you can see the unusual rock formations that remind of the temples in the vicinity of Cusco. Apparently, these are the remains of architectural structures of unknown purpose, perhaps the remains of a settlement, but it is difficult to judge this from the photographs. These incomprehensible structures have not yet been investigated. Despite the fact that the Pan American Highway passes through the plateau, there is still no map of the geoglyphs of the area.
There are several hypotheses for the origin of the palpal plateau geoglyphs. Some believe that the complex was created by a mysterious people, for whom there were no special problems when drawing many kilometers of stripes and lines on the rugged mountainous terrain. The lines stretch for kilometers without deviating from a straight line, the error is no more than five meters for lines longer than five kilometers. Circles, spirals, squares have a perfect geometric shape.
The fact that the builders are not Indians is evidenced at least by the fact that after such large-scale excavation works, there should have been paths stretching from the edge of the plateau to the images themselves, but they are not. Such an idea that the builders flew to the place of work by air. The purpose of the drawings is even more mysterious. Some people think that this is an astronomical calendar. Others believe that the drawings are similar to the landing strips of aliens, and the figures of people served as signals for spacecraft pilots. There are even scientists who are sure that if the drawings are landmarks for aliens, then they should be erased so that unexpected guests from space do not fly to us.
