In the village of Zaprudnoye, near Alushta, the artist Nikolai Nikonorov and his wife opened the world's first House-Museum of brownies, whose services are also used by politicians

People come here not only to learn how to appease the brownie, but also for unique figurines that bring good luck in love, business and career. They say even politicians of the highest echelon look here for a portion of "evil spirits" …

In the workshop, a room without windows, on the shelves, there are about a hundred wooden figures. The biggest ones are up to 50 cm. And none of them are alike!

- It all started with an acquaintance with the brownie living in our apartment, - says Nikolai. - Once I noticed that my cat was rushing about the workshop and meowing loudly. At first I did not pay attention (and in vain - brownies often give us signs through animals), but when I realized that the cat was calling me after him, I left. And then the ceiling collapsed in the room! 300 kilograms fell on the place where I was just sitting! Then I realized that the brownie had saved me, and decided to immortalize him in a tree …

Dares you from drinks and reunites families

Nikolay creates unusual sculptures with his wife, also an artist, Natalia. The Nikonorovs assure: their brownies are able to bring good luck to their owners, fight bad habits and conquer diseases.

“We were convinced of this when we bought the first figurine,” the sculptor recalls. - The man called and said that after he "settled" the figurine at home, a white streak came in his life. He climbed the career ladder and met love …

Today Alushta brownies live in families of Ukrainians, Russians, Americans, Greeks and even Costa Ricans. People learn about the magic figures through friends and acquaintances, come here for their brownie, and then call and write to Zaprudnoye, telling how their life has changed drastically with the appearance of "this little man" in the house.

- One girl suffered greatly from the fact that her parents drank heavily, - says Nikolai Valerievich. - And after she bought the figurine and put it at home, her parents stopped drinking! And now they have a very friendly family!

Promotional video:

“We also have a regular client,” Natalya interrupts her husband. - She gives sculptures to all her loved ones. And when she presented a brownie for her husband's birthday, literally a couple of days later he found a father who was considered missing for about ten years!

Forks and knives flew through the kitchen

For the brownie to work, it must be placed at home in a prominent place and must be given a name. But you need to address him so that no one, except the owners of the house, hears this name.

At one customer, for example, her real brownie constantly turned over all things, threw spoons, forks, knives in the kitchen, and sometimes even strangled the hostess. After the appearance of our wooden brownie in the house, the poltergeist calmed down …

The Nikonorovs have already accumulated so many cases and stories that clients tell that they decided to combine them in one book called "From the Life of Brownies". The collection will be released soon.

Lady Yu "saddled" a winged serpent

The cost of the figurines is negotiable, it is kept secret.

For what money the brownie got to Yulia Tymoshenko, Nikolai also does not speak. But there is no doubt that his creation helped Lady Yu to head the Cabinet of Ministers in 2004.

“It was just during the Orange Revolution,” Nikolai recalls. - A woman came to us and chose an unusual brownie (the image of St. George, taken by me from the Pskov miracle icon of the 12th century). It depicts the saint riding on a winged serpent. According to legend, George, instead of killing the serpent, saddled it and learned to live with evil, restraining it. I told the customer that the brownie in this way is meant more for a politician. And the client admitted that it was a birthday present for her good friend, Yulia Tymoshenko.

It is curious that it was after Tymoshenko's birthday (November 27) and the receipt of the gift that both Lady Yu's and the frontline of the Orange Revolution went uphill. And soon Yulia Vladimirovna headed the Cabinet …

OPINION OF THE CHURCH

"Believing in brownies is a sin!"

Father Alexander, secretary of the Simferopol and Crimean diocese:

- The church does not belong to the house-owners at all. For the reason that brownies do not exist. And the opposite is superstition. Superstition, in turn, is a sin, so it must be confessed.

In order for the Lord to bless us and our home, the ministers of the church conduct the rite of consecration of a house or apartment, as well as a building under construction.

PARAPSYCHOLOGIST COMMENTARY

Brownie can warn of danger

Grigory RYABININ, parapsychologist, specialist in abnormal phenomena:

- Brownie, if he does not like the home atmosphere, can make a mess in the apartment: tickles the owner, hides things, makes various sounds. But do not forget that he looks after the household, which means that he can warn you about the danger. Most often - through a cat (the brownie transforms into it).

He does not do serious nasty things. Some argue that the brownie tries to strangle them while sleeping or set fire to the house. But! The dissatisfaction of the brownie can cause domestic or family disorder. The rest is the work of evil spirits that gain access to your house if the brownie refuses to protect it.

Few people know that before the advent of Christianity, every peasant family celebrated the birthday of the brownie: January 28 and November 14. On these days, you should feed and drink your home spirit (sweet cake and milk) well.
