Ross and Donna Sowerby do not believe in ghosts, but find it difficult to explain what exactly their video camera filmed near the house in the town of Hawera
A married couple set up a video camera near their house after someone stole their bike from the lawn. But instead of catching a possible culprit, their camera captured something much more interesting.
In the evening after work, Ross watched the video and was surprised to see a 25-second moment with a moving object in the tape.
"If I hadn't seen it myself, I would never have believed it." says Ross Saurbi.
On the film, a strange orange ball-like and slightly transparent creature moves around the courtyard of the house at a leisurely pace around the perimeter.
“You may think I'm crazy,” Donna says, but I think it's a ghost cat. You can even see her legs a little there."
She says it looks a lot like the neighbor's cat named Ginger, who was run over by a car a few months ago.
The expert who viewed the tape said that it did not look like a craft. Although he is not sure about the reality of the tape. However, the Sowerby couple deny the forgery. They don't even have a computer with internet.
