Those circles are two high ring walls. They protected the inhabitants of Arkaim from enemies. Here, among other things, they found the oldest urban storm sewer and the world's first chariots. Our ancestors were smart! Hermitage director B. Piotrovsky, academician G. Mesyats, other scientists, archaeologists saved the find from flooding. Today it is a nature reserve with an area of 3300 hectares. In 2005, Vladimir Putin visited it.
Experts, keeping in mind the history of military cartographers, went through aerial photography of those places and found another three dozen ancient settlements near Arkaim, 4 thousand years old and more! They are now known to world science as the Ural "Country of Cities". "Strana" stretches 350 km from north to south and about the same - from west to east.

From Siberia, it passed through the Ural ridge, the present Chelyabinsk region, the Perm Territory and reached the Kola Peninsula.
