Interesting stories have always been heard. Especially if these stories have some kind of mystery. Correspondents of NUR. KZ walked through the places of Aktau, stories about which people have been discussing for years and even decades.
1. House number 7
In this house, located in the fourth microdistrict of Aktau, quite a few people went to the next world. Some jumped from the windows, the second took their own lives in their apartments, the third were killed.
Aktau residents were divided on the degree of anomaly in this house.
However, the city was built from the lower neighborhoods, and old-timers claim that there used to be a cemetery on the edge of the fourth neighborhood.
So think now, are people tired of living or the spirits are not happy?

2. Private sector by the sea
Two-storey houses on the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea. In the evenings, you can watch incredible sunsets as the sea absorbs the sun on the horizon. An excellent choice for building your own palace.
But this is now. People say that once there were burials in these places. And the aforementioned house # 7 is not far away.

Gravestones, according to some residents, were not uncommon in the area before. After decades, no one even remembers this, but some stories pass through generations.
3. Shopping center "Astana"
Nothing terrible happens in this mall. Is that skirmishes with impudent taxi drivers who inflate prices. Residents are resting in a cafe, cinema. They go shopping, buy groceries. Everything is quite civil.
Only here the security officers do not stay here for a long time. It is rare that guards are delayed for more than two months. Someone doesn't like the salary, some don't like the conditions.
Well, someone sees ghosts. There were stories among the keepers of order in a shopping center about a girl howling at night. Some claimed to have seen the ghost of a crying girl in white robes.
Not many people agreed to talk about this, because they can count as crazy.
4. Old mosque
The mosque is located in the 17th microdistrict. The construction went on actively until the builders began to find the remains of people there: skulls and bones. According to rumors, the mosque was built on old graves. The project was turned down, and the unfinished building is still standing.
It would seem why a pile of bricks takes up so much space.
But the residents are sure that spirits live there and should not be disturbed. Believe in spirits or not is everyone's business. But the building remains intact.
5. Residential complex "Emerald"
Ordinary residential buildings with playgrounds, car parking and security.
Few people remember that before the construction of high-rise buildings, teenagers often walked on this vacant lot in search of thrills.
They said that ghosts could be found there. Or something more interesting.
Even now, some local residents sometimes see some strange translucent figures.
6. The road to the airport
On one of the sections of the relatively new highway to the airport, drivers often saw the ghost of a girl standing on the side of the road.
Rumors about this spread so much that people preferred not to look around in this roadway.
Time has passed, the excitement has subsided. So far, no one else has seen the girl.
7. Thrill cottage
This is what young people once called this building.
Previously, the house was rented out for a fun pastime. The cottage was popular with teenagers and young people because it was allegedly inhabited by ghosts.
To believe the rumors or not is a separate question. But those who were looking for thrills got them in this house.
Some "lucky ones" said they saw a little girl screaming so that her ears hurt.
Now the house is no longer for rent, and entertainment has lost its relevance.
8. The road to the dacha sector
There have always been terrible accidents on this section of the road. The drivers preferred to take a detour to the dachas.
There were rumors among the people that this place was cursed and the shaitans were walking there. People would say prejudice.
But a few years ago there was a massive "sadaka". A lot of people gathered, they killed a ram, prepared food and cleared the road from evil spirits.
Since then, the number of accidents has not decreased much, but drivers have stopped seeing the devil.
