Our site wrote about the Japanese creating a robot that looks like an exoskeleton from the movie "Avatar". But it seems that Italian inventors have overtaken their Japanese counterparts in this. Their project is already ready, it is simpler and much more effective.

The Italian innovation can rightfully be considered the most perfect of all mechanisms of this type existing in the world. The robo-suit was made by scientists at the Sant'Anna High School in Pisa.

The suit can be used both for military purposes (the project was funded by the Italian Ministry of Defense) and during complex rescue operations. It consists of a body and 2 legs and arms attached to it.

The suit is able to repeat the movements of the person controlling it and increase their strength by 20 times. It is equipped with special sensors to detect human movements. The robot operator can move forward, backward, sideways, rotate in place, bend, climb and descend stairs. The robot's arms can withstand loads weighing up to 100 kg, and it can hold them for a long time.
