The appearance of "unusual footprints" caused panic among the inhabitants of the Indian village of Anturu, located in the state of Karnataka. A strange chain of enormous footprints was discovered Sunday morning after the villagers hid in the backyard the previous night after hearing someone's loud heavy breathing.
At dawn, they decided to investigate the situation and were amazed when they saw between twenty and thirty large footprints, which, according to eyewitnesses, did not resemble anything they had ever seen. One of the local residents suggested that the unknown creature that left its prints had a step of about 1 meter.
Unfortunately, sensational information quickly spread throughout the neighborhood, and curious onlookers poured into the village, who literally wiped out all "other people's tracks" from the ground.
This was particularly disappointing for paranormal researchers, as the only remaining photograph shows a footprint that is very difficult to classify. However, the villagers are worried that the huge creature might return.
“Women and children are not yet leaving their homes for fear of the appearance of an alien,” resident Anturu told the New Indian Express.
Meanwhile, police have admitted that they cannot identify prints that do not look like animal tracks, and the Forestry Department plans to increase the number of patrols in the area.
“We want to find someone who plays these games,” said one of the gamekeepers.
