An unidentified object hovered over the Trans-Baikal village of Chara on the evening of June 24, a member of the Become a Famous Reporter project said.
The recording shows a black smoky ring hovering over Chara. Locals jokingly suggested that it was an unidentified flying object (UFO) belonging to aliens.
Black rings hanging in the air turned out to be a widespread phenomenon - they were recorded in Britain, Poland, USA, Kazakhstan, Novosibirsk. They began to appear regularly on video with the development of portable cameras.
The British edition of The Sun found that the phenomenon is a smoke vortex that can occur when a blast wave passes through a cylindrical chimney. You can also recreate them using pyrotechnic equipment.
The head of the Kalarsky district, Pavel Romanov, said that on June 23-24, there were no explosions or other incidents in Chara, like in other settlements of the region. All boiler houses, he said, were shut down after the end of the heating season.
