Over the millennia, someone diligently rid mankind of the accumulated knowledge, destroying everything that even indirectly could show people the path of true development - the path that can be traversed only by improving their own strengths and consciousness, but not with the help of crutches "of technical progress ".
No matter how trite it sounds, books have always been the source of knowledge. And it was the books, especially their most valuable copies, that were systematically destroyed. Let's take a closer look at this sad process since ancient times.
When Caesar arrived in Alexandria, the famous library contained at least seven hundred thousand manuscripts. And some of them instilled fear in the conquerors. In particular, such is the literary legacy of a certain Berossus, a Babylonian priest who fled to Greece at one time. Berossus was a historian, astrologer and astronomer. He invented the semicircular sun dial and created the theory of the addition of sun and moon rays, anticipating the most modern work on the interference of light. Among other things, among his writings, Berossus left a story about a meeting with … aliens - the mysterious Apkallu-sami, creatures that resembled fish; they lived in spacesuits and passed on to people the first scientific knowledge, carefully recorded by the Babylonian priest.
The "history of the world" by Berossus, in which he described his first contacts with aliens, has been lost. Only a few fragments remain of it.
The same library contained the works of Demetrios Falernsky, one of which bore a strange title: "On a beam of light in the sky" - the first work about flying saucers.
It also contained the works of the Phoenician historian Mocus, who is credited with creating the atomic theory.
Presumably, the famous "Book of Thoth" was also in the Alexandrian library. According to the oldest legend, Thoth invented writing and was the chronicler of all the meetings of the gods. The book was written on 78 gold plates, and the inhabitants of Atlantis were believed to be its authors.
Knowledge accumulates and … is destroyed
The "Book of Thoth" revealed the secrets of managing various worlds. She also gave power over the earth, ocean and celestial bodies. With its help, it was possible to resurrect the dead, to influence other people at a distance, to master the functions of our own body unknown to us.
With the destruction of the library, all the listed works disappeared, including the golden tablets of the Book of Thoth. Copies copied into papyri were systematically destroyed by the priests, and later by the Inquisition.

Fast forward to a later time. At the turn of the 15th-16th centuries, a certain Abbot Trithemius wrote a work called Steganography. The preface to the book reads as follows: “I will tell you about the ways in which I can accurately and reliably convey my will to anyone who comprehends the meaning of my science, no matter how far he may be from me, even a hundred miles away. Even to a prisoner
and one who is under vigilant protection, I am able to convey my thoughts."
What discovery the abbot made is unknown, but in 1616 the manuscript was publicly burned.
The same fate befell the works of the English mathematician, geographer and astronomer Dr. John Dee (1527-1609). Only a small part of his work has survived, entitled "A True and Faithful Report of What Happened Over the Years Between Dr. J. Dee and Certain Spirits." The doctor called the spirits the unearthly intelligent beings with whom, according to him, he repeatedly came into contact.
The book contained mathematical knowledge, the level of which was much higher than that existed in the days of John Dee. It also said that the Earth consists of many superimposed spheres, lined up along another dimension. Between these spheres there are points, or rather, surfaces of contact. Most of the manuscript was burned by unknown persons who plundered John Dee's archive after his death.
Priceless ancient manuscripts were destroyed both during the Paris Commune and during the Second World War. Many relics were burned at the National Library in Sarajevo in the early 1990s. The process of destruction of knowledge continues.
