A former participant in the show on TNT "Battle of Psychics", on condition of anonymity, named the amount that guarantees reaching the final at the casting stage. He told about this in an interview with the "360" TV channel.
According to him, he was offered to buy participation and "maintenance" in the project immediately after signing a non-disclosure agreement. In the fourth season, the cost of reaching the final was 450 thousand rubles. The psychic suggested that now the amount for the service is likely to have increased.
The participant in the fourth season explained that the money invested later pays off, since getting into the show guarantees good earnings in the future. He stressed that the organizers of the show were aware of how much money psychics make from fans of the show.
The source admitted that all participants are "led" by editors who dosed out the information obtained by the producers. “I don’t presume to say whether there have been real psychics on the show for all the time of its existence, but there are really many of those who have nothing to do with psychics,” he said.
"Battle of Psychics" has been on Russian television since 2007. By 2018, 19 seasons of the show were released. The project has been repeatedly criticized for its staged nature and pre-written scripts. In 2017, "Battle of Psychics" received an anti-award for popularizing pseudoscience from the Ministry of Education and Science. Attempts by the participants to pass independent tests and receive the Houdini Prize for demonstrating paranormal abilities in the conditions of a correctly designed experiment did not end successfully.
