The first deputy governor of the region, Sergei Komyakov, said that on Tuesday the state of emergency was lifted in the Chelyabinsk region. The official noted that the most expensive work is carried out in the Uralskaya Molniya ice palace. Their cost is estimated at 125 million rubles. The Governor made a decision to pay cash compensation to all citizens affected by the meteor shower.
Residents of South Urals, who were treated on an outpatient basis, will receive five thousand rubles each. Victims with mild injuries who were hospitalized in medical institutions will be paid 10 thousand rubles each. For 30 thousand rubles and 50 thousand rubles will be payments to those who received injuries of medium and severe degrees. According to Komyakov, the money will be allocated from the regional budget reserve fund. Recall, 1613 people applied for medical help after the meteor shower, 69 people were hospitalized.
Meanwhile, experts from the Central Siberian Geological Museum, together with scientists from the Sobolev Institute of Geology and Mineralogy of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, analyzed the remains of a celestial body found in Lake Chebarkul. Scientists have found that the main constituents of the meteorite are the minerals olivine and orthopyroxene. In addition, the meteorite contains iron sulfides, nickel and nickel meteorite iron (tenite and kamacite), chromite, plagioclase, clinopyroxene, and feldspar glass.
Scientists believe that meteorites are the substance from which planets were formed. Therefore, the study of the remains of this celestial body can provide essential information about the formation of the solar system.
However, the fall of the meteorite aroused the curiosity of not only academic scientists. “A meteorite can be a by-product of space warfare, a weapon of space forces,” says Yuri Senkin, press secretary of the UFO Society in Moscow. - In some frames it was clearly visible: a space giant was flying from top to bottom along the oblique towards the Earth.
