All sorts of predictors regularly promise the death of all living things in the very near future. Luckily for us, none of these prophecies have come true yet. The end of the world did not come either in the 900s, or in 1666, or in the 1900s, or in the last decade of the 20th century, which was especially rich in such prophecies. Nevertheless, in the foreseeable future there are several more "hot" dates, the closest of which falls on 2012.
Evidence from the Vatican Museum
Today almost no one doubts that the end of the world will indeed come - only the scenarios and causes of this global cataclysm differ. For believing Christians, the essence of the story about the end of the world boils down to the fact that after the seizure of power on Earth by the Antichrist, a decisive battle of heavenly and hellish forces will take place, after which, in the end, the kingdom of God will reign. Atheists, on the other hand, are overwhelmed by strong doubts not only about the existence of the Lord, but also about his opponent, Satan, who is supposed to elevate the Antichrist to the world throne. In order for these suspicious citizens to believe in the existence of at least dark forces, a real museum of Lucifer has been created in the Vatican. The museum was founded in 1933 at the behest of Pope Pius XI and with his blessing it exhibits exhibits that testify to the fact that Satan really exists. Among other things, a prayer book is kept there,owned by a young Italian woman who died suddenly of horror in 1578 when Satan appeared to her. On the book, which she dropped in fright, you can see the burned places where the Prince of Darkness touched her. Another exhibit is the dress of the French Countess Sibylla de Mercer, who met the devil in the deserted courtyard of her castle in 1357. Lucifer's Touches and burnt places were left on it. Demon in the flesh
What could be more convincing than the flesh of Lucifer himself. As you know, the Lord God has only one physical incarnation - Jesus of Nazareth. but Satan has appeared in the flesh hundreds of times in the history of mankind. One such incarnation is a mummy found under the ruins of an old church in the capital of Mexico, Mexico City. Archaeologists have every reason to believe that the surviving remains belonged to a real demon! The dried-up body with goat-like horns, elongated incisors and cloven hooves was discovered on January 21, 1997 by workers during the demolition of an old building. Scientists do not know how the mummy, found in a simple stone sarcophagus under the altar, ended up in the Catholic Church of St. Anthony. Professor I. Terranova, upon completion of the examination of the remains, came to the conclusion that the age of the find is at least 600 years. It's amazingthat the mummy is so well preserved: many details of the appearance are clearly visible, for example, long, almost female eyelashes.
A careful study of the find showed that the creature had horns and fangs already in adulthood. According to Professor Terranov, everything points to the drastic and painful physical changes that occurred to this person around the age of 25. Presumably, this transformation was caused by the instillation of the devil into an ordinary human body. A copper medallion was found on the mummy's neck, the inscriptions on which have not yet been deciphered, but experts suggest that this decoration was some kind of occult object, with the help of which Satan infused a volunteer or an unsuspecting victim.

The mummy of a horned man from Mexico City is not the first incarnation of Satan found by scientists. At the end of 1995, a similar artifact was already reported, found in Indian burials near White River (South Dakota, USA). Studies of the remains allow us to say that this Satan did not have a sweet spot on earth: he was tortured to death by the Sioux warriors. The remains found in South Dakota date from the beginning of the 18th century, that is, they are about 300 years old. If the interval between the bodily incarnations of the demon does not change, then the next appearance of Satan should be expected just at the beginning of the third millennium.

Prophecies of Satan
Another no less interesting exhibit kept in the Museum of Lucifer is the predictions of the demon himself concerning the end of the world. The prophecies are inscribed on black onyx plates and are conservatively estimated to be about 10,000 years old. These horrible prophecies have been sealed with seven seals since 1566, when they were passed on to the Vatican by a denounced Satanist. Until 1999, the Vatican was silent about the existence of this physical evidence of the existence of the devil. Of the ten predictions etched by Satan in stone, only five have come true. The rest were supposed to be realized before 2000, but this never happened.
The prophecies that have come true include, in particular, an indication of Lucifer's plans to plunge Christendom into complete confusion during the time of the Crusades, which, as we know from historical sources, did take place. They also contain an indication of the First and Second World Wars and the coming to power of a servant of the forces of evil - Adolf Hitler. The latter, by the way, made a pact with Satan at one time. And this document, sealed with bloody signatures on both sides, is also kept in the Vatican. As for other fulfilled prophecies, these are global changes in the Earth itself, which is confirmed by the current state of ecology and a whole series of unprecedented earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and other natural disasters that befell humanity at the end of the 20th century. Also, the Prince of Darkness prophesied the fall of the world under the weight of epidemics, drug addiction,exacerbated by unbridled sex and a general decline in morality. Mad cow disease, avian and swine flu, AIDS and tuberculosis are more than enough evidence.

Satan's prophecies are, in general, the same as the predictions contained in the Bible, with the exception of the summary. In the Bible, we find an indication that after a period of incredible upheavals, suffering and struggle, Good will still prevail over Evil and lead to the establishment of the Kingdom of God on Earth. Satan's predictions contain the exact opposite statement: after a series of misfortunes and terrible epidemics, world wars and unprecedented terror, Evil will conquer Good, and hell will reign on Earth, which will exist forever.
Alternative versions
In one form or another, the end of the world was predicted by much more ancient religions than Christianity. Probably the most famous of them is Scandinavian. According to the prophecy about Ragnarok, made by the dead seer Velva, specially revived for this by Odin, the death of the whole world will follow after the last battle between the gods and chaotic monsters. However, it is not irrevocable - after a long winter, the absorption of the sun by the monstrous wolf Fenrir and the release of all seas from the shores, the Earth will be purified by fire, and then rebirth will follow - two surviving people, Liv and Livtrasir, will give rise to a new human race.
According to Aztec mythology, Naui-Ollin, or the end of the Fifth Age, must come, and all because since 1500 human sacrifices to Nanautsin, or the Sun, which gives us its life-giving power and protects us from all sorts of misfortunes, ceased. So soon the Sun will cool down and the world will plunge into darkness.
The followers of the ancient Persian religion of Zoroastrianism believe that the comet Gochihr will fall on the Earth, after which the waves of the holy molten metal will cover the entire surface of the planet, and all people, living and dead, will be judged. All sins will burn away in the holy fire, and a virgin-born man named Saoshyant, or “the one who brings good,” will defeat the forces of evil and lead us into a new world. where no one will suffer and no one will die.
What scenario further events will develop will, to some extent, depend on our choice. The only thing that is desirable to make this choice as early as possible - before the beginning of the end.
