Peru is an interesting ancient state, the history of which is full of the most amazing stories and unexplained mysteries. One of these mysteries is Puerto de Jai Marka, a place located near the Peruvian city of Pune. It is a large stone gate with a height of seven meters. The landmark was discovered relatively recently - in 1996. It was accidentally found by a climber who explored the local area and looked for new places suitable for climbing. Now historians, archaeologists and researchers from all over the world are fighting over the mystery of this ancient structure.
Among the local residents who live near the found attraction, there is a legend according to which the real gods once lived in these lands in ancient times. Who they were: alien creatures, semi-humans, beings with superknowledge and superpowers - no one knows for sure yet. Researchers who deal with ufology issues believe that this place is a kind of entrance to some other worlds and realities. There are also many different legends about how people entered this gate and never returned.
One of the most famous legends of these places is the legend about the existence of the mythical land of Lemuria. According to the stories, it was a whole continent that sank in the Pacific Ocean. The very history of the search for this continent is quite interesting. The provisional name Lemuria was given to him when it was assumed that the mainland sank in the Indian Ocean and that, for example, Madagascar is its sunken part. Hence the name - in honor of lemurs, which are found only in Madagascar.
But all the studies showed that there was no mainland there. Then the invented name was transferred to another theoretical location of the drowned continent - in the Pacific Ocean. Geographically, the place for many fans of this theory looks even more convincing - along Peru is the so-called East Pacific Rise, which may be an echo of the fact that there was once land here.
One way or another, there is a theory that it was on this continent that the ape-like ancestors of man lived, who had a high level of development and were an intermediate link in evolution. Many representatives of esoteric teachings also consider the sunken continent to be the habitat of the ancestors of people and representatives of the "root race" of humanity.
It was here, according to legend, that the sacred solar disk with valuable scrolls was saved and safely hidden. The ancient artifacts were first stored in the area of Lake Titicaca, later they were transferred to the east of Peru to the ancient city of Cuzco, whose name translated from the official language of the Inca Empire means the Navel of the Earth, and then again to the Eternal City under the lake. This Eternal City is, according to the convictions of many, the very Lemuria, and the stone Gate of the Gods found in 2006 is a lost entrance to an underground ancient city with a special "keyhole" under a key unknown to mankind.

But the legends and stories of the Peruvian landmark do not end there. Since then, when it was found, not only travelers and tourists have visited it, but also a large number of various scientists, researchers, historians and archaeologists. According to many of them, this place really has some strange features. Some, after seeing and touching the Gates of the Gods, talked about unusual visions and sensations: they seemed to have stars, pillars of fire and a tunnel inside the rock, they heard music. And the most interesting thing is that computer studies showed no cavities inside the rock. Although it is naive to assume that this entire ancient structure is just a decoration.
The place was also examined in detail by ufologists, who discovered a high activity of UFOs with a spherical shape. Based on the same old legend, representatives of other alien races, which our ancestors called gods, periodically fly here and pass to another world through this Gate. From an energy point of view, this landmark is combined with five other sites of the same importance in the area of Lake Titicaca in the shape of a cross. The unique historical place continues to keep mysteries and secrets around it.
