For the fourth day, the Internet community has been discussing the incident in Altai

Let me remind you that on January 9, a Mi-8 with 11 people on board crashed in the Altai mountains. 7 people died. In Gorny Altai, a business meeting was to take place at the representative of the Altai Republic under the Russian government. According to rumors, after negotiations, high-ranking officials were going to hunt in the mountains. On the Internet, heated discussions have flared up about the causes of the accident.

In 2002, a search and rescue team found the wreckage of a Mi-8 helicopter on the mountainside near Gorno-Altaysk, north-west of the village of Kurai, at an altitude of more than 3.5 thousand meters, in which there were corpses of 11 (!) People (three crew members and eight passenger athletes who intended to snowboard down the Aktru mountain peak 3800 meters high). The aircraft flew to the mountainous region to practice flights in extreme conditions, and in the village of Kurai the crew landed. The athletes were there and asked to take them to the top. However, thin air and strong wind did not allow the car to rise to the height, and it collapsed onto the mountainside.

In 2006, a private seaplane of the Corvette type crashed in the Turochak region. It fell into Lake Teletskoye, 10 km east of the Artybash settlement.

There were other incidents as well. As a rule, everything was attributed to weather conditions, violations of safety rules, etc. But here's what's interesting.

In the mid-1990s, an Emergencies Ministry helicopter crashed in the Altai mountains. The weather did not bode well, but flying over the place, which was considered anomalous, the instruments began to go off scale. As it turned out, at the moment the helicopter flew over this place, local shamans and healers called on the spirits of nature to help with the weather. The energy gushed there.

Gorny Altai is considered a holy, energetically powerful place. According to one of the legends prevailing in Asia, Mount Belukha is the future Northern Shambhala, a paradise that will come after the disappearance of people. Altaians believe that the whole world is ruled by spirits, or creatures, whose existence cannot be explained.

You shouldn't joke with the mountain spirits either. In Altai, they are not some kind of elders or ghosts, but individualize directly with the locality - a lake, a mountain, etc. So the mountains are also the deities to whom the Altaians pray, as beings capable of expressing their anger, sending mercy and answering human prayers. If a person has climbed a mountain, he should not shout loudly, swear with someone or make noise. Otherwise, a person can pay very much for his ignorance. Depending on the severity of the offense - to be crippled or even killed.

At the same time, the owner of the mountain does not allow not only any deviations or violations in relation to himself, but also to the animals and vegetation of these places. So our would-be hunters could well fall out of favor with the spirit of Blackrock Mountain.
