Dyatlov Pass is a mysterious and mystical place, besides it is incredibly beautiful. The nature at the pass is very beautiful. The slopes are sprouted with green moss, which stands out very strongly in the general plan of the cloudy horizon.
The landscape and nature are truly pleasing to the eye. The weather is very changeable, and in 5 minutes there can be bright sun, rain, hurricane, snow.
Most of the slope is dry, but in some places the snow is still melting, forming muddy rivers. But this is mainly at the beginning of the slope, and in the far part. For example, we could not go further to Otorten, since the slope was still in the snow.
The flora seems to be the same as ours, flowers, fir-trees, birches, but as if distorted. If birch, then dwarf, if pine, then very fluffy.

The beauty is in the little things!
Due to the proximity of clouds, they sometimes envelop the slope, then visibility deteriorates sharply and everything becomes as if in smog.
It was in this kind of smog that a memorial rock suddenly appeared. This is the key point of our route, and an impromptu tombstone for the Dyatlov group.
Very close to this place, on the night of February 1, 1959, a group of tourists, led by Igor Dyatlov, set up a tent for spending the night. Which became fatal for them.
A commemorative plaque and several more plaques have been installed in this place. There is also a hiding place under the rock where people leave something for the next group. There is also a magazine where you can register and mark that you were there.
For the most part, I was driving for the sake of nature and beautiful views, but still I cannot ignore the circumstances of the death of tourists. Initially, there was a thought that having seen this place with my own eyes, I would understand and recognize something. Complete nonsense.
To understand something, you had to be here in the winter of 1959. Now, even knowing the approximate location of the tent, these are just mountains.
One thing I can say is that the weather conditions at the pass are harsh and very variable. It is possible that Dyatlov's group was caught off guard by some kind of weather phenomenon.
Of course, I have read many theories and interpretations of the incident, everyone says that his theory is true and gives reasons. But I can say one thing, all this is just arguments and speculation. It is worth examining the main versions, and choosing the one that seems more believable for yourself.
While there, I even began to believe in the Mansi curse theory. It seems that without an emergency trip ended with a fatal coup, at one of the moments on the pass, my lens suddenly failed. But then, nevertheless, my mind leaped over this nonsense, and I realized that all dubious incidents in fact can be characterized from the side of realism.
At the moment, I have the following theory. Having got up to spend the night on a cold slope, Dyatlov's group got into a cyclone. Over time, there was conflict and discord. Krivonischenko offered to go down to the forest and put up a tent there. Against this background, the conflict escalated, general fatigue and bad weather played a role. As a result, Krivonischenko and Doroshenko went to principle and decided together to go down to the forest and try to set up their camp there. Attempts to keep warm by the fire were unsuccessful, the fire burned badly, and the wind blew out the heat. As a result, they moved their limbs closer and closer to the fire, as a result of which they received burns. So they froze there.
Before leaving, they tried to pick up a pair of skis that supported the tent, but since the second pair was under the tent, they decided not to take it, but to walk. After some time, the canopy of the tent without support began to blow off. When the rest of the tourists decided to go in search of the first two, they could not get out of the collapsing tent, they had to cut the canopy, which was constantly fluttering in the wind. Having found two corpses near the forest, they realized that they should try to build a shelter.
Taking off their clothes, they went down the slope, where they tried to build a shelter. Digging a hole in the deep snow for shelter, some of the tourists were in it when one of the walls collapsed, filling under them. When the group moved back to the tent, in an attempt to pick up warm clothes, they scattered in a blizzard in different directions. As a result, one by one, in a blizzard and at night, they simply got lost and could not find a tent, and now froze to death.
This is just an abridged version of the theory, if necessary, I can cite a full article in which all the necessary arguments regarding certain facts are expressed. This theory seemed to me the most possible.
