Researchers of the paranormal have come to the conclusion that psychic abilities of a person, for example, a tendency to heal, the ability to foresee the future, and so on, are directly related to the medium's habitat and lifestyle. For this reason, drastic changes in life can completely deprive a person of his unique abilities.
As an example, consider the following historical case. At the end of the seventeenth century in Lyon there was a murder that was completely unprecedented for that time, which literally blew up the entire city. In the cellar of one of the houses, two bloody corpses and an ax were found, with the help of which this is absolutely a wild crime. Despite all the efforts of the police, the killer was never found, and then the relatives of the murdered turned to a certain Jacques Aimard, who was famous for being able to find any hidden things, find thieves and reveal deceptions.
Jacques agreed to help the police in this matter, after which he was taken to the crime scene, where, with the help of the most ordinary twig (vine), he easily fell into a trance, and then began to talk about how the murder actually took place. According to him, the killer left the basement and walked along the banks of the Rhone river, then he got into a boat, crossed the river and moved towards the city of Boquera. After another trance (with the help of the same twig), Emar told the police that the criminal was now in prison. In the prison itself, Jacques easily pointed to a hunchbacked man who, as it turned out, had been imprisoned just a few hours ago for some petty theft. Subsequently, the hunchback was convicted (he confessed everything) and sentenced to death by wheel.

But Jacques Aimard himself surprised the then scientific world so much that he was even brought to Paris for scientific examination. However, in Paris, this semi-educated man, who never left his native land and was accustomed to a quiet and measured life, suddenly lost all his abilities. Researchers argue that the Maid of Orleans, due to such changes, also lost her gift for clairvoyance. And there are a lot of such examples.

That is why today many psychics, even those who actually have extraordinary abilities, often lose them due to the fact that they leave their small homeland, dramatically change their way of life, for example, they suddenly become famous and rich, and so on. It is no coincidence that a good saying has existed in Russia since ancient times: where he was born, he was useful there. Apparently, it is no coincidence that God sends our soul to that body and to that place of residence where we can realize ourselves in the best possible way.
And although for many people a change of place of residence and lifestyle turns out to be only good, for some mediums this most often ends in the loss (partial or even complete) of all their supernatural abilities.
