The witness, who is not named for security reasons by MUFON, said he used the "contact 5 Protocol" method invented by Dr. Stephen Greer of New York.
Greer, a former emergency room doctor, is one of the most prominent ufologists in the United States, campaigning to educate the public about the truth about aliens on Earth.
The witness stated in his testimony that he and a friend came across a UFO in the Long Island City area. The object was stationary and changed colors from purple to red.
The man recalled that he had read earlier about the method of establishing contact with aliens through mental communication with them. And he decided to try to apply it in action.
The eyewitness mentally greeted the aliens. In response, the UFO changed its color, as if responding to a greeting. The man then offered to show them where he lives, and the UFO followed him.
After he said goodbye to the aliens and entered his house with a friend, the UFO hung near the entrance for some time and disappeared.
MUFON representatives are now studying the information received.
At the same time, the popular ufologist Scott Waring could not stay away from this event and commented on it. He is confident that the witness is telling the truth.

According to Waring, the witness is incredibly lucky to get to know the aliens so closely, because in most cases they do not come into contact with humans.
Skeptics believe that the witness simply saw the reflections from some kind of advertising sign and mistook them for UFOs.
