The scientists who compiled it believe that the universe develops cyclically
Although the theory that our world arose from the Big Bang is rarely disputed by scientists, some of them consider it an open question about what preceded this event. According to the version proposed by a specialist from Oxford University Roger Penrose, the Universe develops cyclically, and the Big Bang is just the moment of its "reboot". The scientist calls each complete cycle of the existence of the Universe an eon.

Roger Penrose suggests that during the past "incarnations" of the universe, it was inhabited by highly developed civilizations, and traces of their existence can be seen today. Moreover, Pentrose and his colleague Vahagn Gurzadyan from the National Science Laboratory in Yerevan adhere to the idea that the supercivilizations of the past eon could deliberately transfer information to our world in such a way that it would exist even after the “end of the world” in their understanding.
Such messages can be encrypted in CMB anomalies. In general, it fills the world evenly, however, some fluctuations of this thermal radiation still occur, and there is no unambiguous explanation for this phenomenon yet, Forbes reports.
Messages, hypothetically left by supercivilizations of the past in the form of CMB anomalies, may contain information about what the Universe was like before the Big Bang, as well as warnings and warnings for the inhabitants of the new world. One way or another, scientists hope that humanity will be able to decipher these messages. To help with this, scientists have compiled a new CMB map. In their opinion, in places where anomalies are maximum, ancient civilizations could have lived during the last eon.
No matter how fantastic the new theory looks, its authors are quite respectable scientists. Roger Penrose, in particular, was knighted and awarded the British Order of Merit. He is also the recipient of the prestigious Israeli Wolf Prize.
