Experts suggest that the sunken palace itself could have been on the island of Aphrodite, next to the great Alexandria, but later sank. Historians tend to believe that Cleopatra could have ruled Egypt from this very palace.
It was even possible to discover ancient texts that mention a strong earthquake in 335 and it is possible that it was because of it that the island sank and hid the luxury of Cleopatra's possessions.
There were many researchers who found many ancient artifacts and remains of the temple under water. Many of the finds are perfectly preserved and will help to better know our history and the history of the reign of the Queen of Egypt - Cleopatra.
