Japanese scientists who studied the phenomenal abilities of Yulia Vorobyova called her the X-ray man. Today Yulia Vorobyova lives on a modest pension in a remote Ukrainian village

French journalists who tested her abilities were dubbed the human computer. She has diagnosed Politburo members, astronauts, famous writers and actors. An amazing gift brought her neither money nor happiness. Today Yulia Vorobyova lives on a modest pension in a remote Ukrainian village.

Die, resurrect

On March 3, 1978, Yulia Vorobyova, a 37-year-old crane operator at the Petrovskaya mine, took up her shift in high spirits. On the eve of Women's Day, a few women who worked at the mine received gifts - flowers, food packages and cash bonuses. Her husband did not indulge Julia with flowers, money in a family with three small children was always scarce, and food at that time was in great shortage. As soon as Yulia climbed the stairs to the tower crane cabin and grabbed the levers, there was a terrible crack. The cockpit sparkled. Later it turned out that the crane operator was hit by a 380-volt discharge. The blackened body, covered with a sheet, was taken to the morgue. In the accompanying paper, the doctors wrote: "death by electric shock." The houses began to prepare for the funeral …

The deceased woke up three days later - when a medical practitioner, preparing for an autopsy, slashed her with a scalpel.

The resurrected woman was given the first group of disabilities, and her relatives were warned that she would not last long. At night, Yulia screamed from terrible pain, and for six months after what happened, she did not see anything. In Odessa, at Filatov's ophthalmological clinic, doctors diagnosed complete blindness. But one day the vision returned. Just not quite ordinary - Yulia did not even immediately realize that she was seeing people … right through. At first, the former crane operator could only accurately tell what a person ate for lunch or breakfast. But one day, having cast a glance at the neighbor's cow, I clearly saw a calf embryo in her womb.

Realizing that she could not do without knowledge of anatomy, Julia entered a medical school and compiled an anatomical atlas of a person for herself. At first, she simply learned to distinguish organs, later - to distinguish a patient from a healthy one, and then diagnose maturing problems.

Blind X-ray

The fame of the phenomenon of Yulia Vorobyova quickly spread, first in Donetsk, and then throughout the Soviet Union. Suffering people began to flock to her, whom doctors could not diagnose and prescribe treatment for a long time. Then the doctors pulled themselves up, asking to "see" the difficult patient. Over time, scientists became interested in the abilities of Julia Vorobyova. The first "interrogation with partiality" Yulia Fedorovna took place at the Kiev Institute of Nuclear Research. She was put in a dark room with 2,000 numbered cells and asked to name which of them the laser beam invisible to the human eye was directed.

Vorobyova was never mistaken. Institute devices recorded that strong electromagnetic radiation emanated from Yulia Fedorovna. In Switzerland, at the World Congress of Parapsychologists, she (the only one of all the subjects!) Accurately established a congenital anomaly in an unknown peasant. The famous ophthalmologist Svyatoslav Fedorov, having passed her through all the equipment available in his clinic, came to the conclusion that Vorobyova was … blind. And Yulia Fedorovna, who saw the doctor for the first time, said that he had no shin (at that time only relatives knew about this). "Maybe you see with your brain, Julia?" - suggested the shocked doctor.

Star diagnoses

They did not know about the international successes of Yulia Fedorovna at home - such rumors did not seep through the "Iron Curtain". But then the case intervened - in the Yalta hotel she was introduced to Yulian Semyonov. The well-known writer, who at first met the "diagnostician" with distrust, announced half an hour after meeting:

- Tomorrow we will fly to Moscow! Talent has no place in the province.

Who has not been at the reception at the "person-X-ray"! Books with dedicatory inscriptions and photographs with autographs of Academician Sakharov, Konstantin Raikin, Alexander Abdulov, Evgeny Petrosyan, Willie Tokarev, Emmanuil Vitorgan still adorn the bookshelves in Yulia Fedorovna's house. Yulia Fyodorovna is also proud of the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Star City", received for her assistance in the rehabilitation of cosmonauts after flights.

Promotional video:

Yulian Semyonov sent her a copy of each of his new books, and on the title page always wrote: "To my dear and talented namesake Yulechka, a wonderful healer, with cordial friendship." And after she returned his daughter's hair lost after illness, he dedicated his novel "Auction" to her.

Yulia Fyodorovna visited the families of French President Francois Mitterrand and Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. In the presence of numerous witnesses, she told the Indian politician: - The black day of your life is May 21, 1991.

It was on this day that Rajiv Gandhi became the victim of a terrorist attack.

Yulia Fedorovna has visited 28 countries and met many famous people. But the most unforgettable meeting for her was the meeting with Raisa Gorbacheva.

“I was struck by the special light emanating from this fragile woman. In wisdom, she was not inferior to her husband. And the aura of that extraordinary love that reigned in this family still warms me.

Yulia Fedorovna helped not only celebrities. Mothers came to her, whose sons went missing during the local wars in the North Caucasus.

From the photographs, Yulia Fedorovna unmistakably determined who died and who languished in captivity. Once she was invited to the hospital to say goodbye to her former teacher, whom doctors diagnosed with esophageal cancer and warned that her days were numbered. But Yulia Fyodorovna, as soon as she saw the woman, immediately said:

- Yes, this is not cancer, but just a hernia, only a very large one. It also gives obstruction.

She circled in green where there was a hernia. The teacher was operated on - she is alive and well to this day.

After the glory

Today, Yulia Fedorovna does not like to remember her former glory. She “retired” - she left Donetsk for a remote village, and turns on her “X-ray” only for little children.

“The years take their toll,” she explains apologetically. - Yes, and my health does not allow me to have a constant reception. This is not an easy task, it takes a lot of strength. When I look at a person, it’s as if I’m sick with all his sores. And if the patient is difficult, after the meeting I need to come to myself for half a day.

So you have to refuse - even if large sums are promised for help. Although Yulia Fyodorovna has no extra money - she lives on a modest pension and disability benefits. Having worked with famous people all her life, she could not save up for a comfortable old age.

- Yes, they met me and saw me off at the highest level, but I never took payment for the reception.

Children help Yulia Fyodorovna, so the son-in-law has rebuilt the house. Only money is not enough for medicines - they are expensive these days. A woman with phenomenal abilities, who has helped many, is unable to alleviate her fate. Complains:

“I“don't see”either myself or those close to me.

Doesn't Yulia Feodorovna regret that she wasted so much energy, and in return, besides flowers and autographs, she received nothing?

- The most valuable thing in life is gratitude. She, like pure spring water, nourishes the soul and heart. It is not for nothing that they say that a person lives as long as he has something to say thank you for. Maybe that's why I, who survived such a terrible emergency, is still alive.
