Hussein has lost the opportunity to earn money: a man cannot get out of bed, since his legs weigh 50 kilograms, and each of them is 88 centimeters in girth. His family has to constantly ask for money from relatives. The man turned to the authorities for help, but received no response. Elephantiasis usually occurs after infection with the nematode Brugia malayi. The parasite enters the human body through the bite of a mosquito affected by a nematode.
