The extra fingers on both hands were removed for her in infancy: in most cases, they do this with all six-fingered children.
But it is extremely rare that children are born whose extra fingers and toes would look as natural as Kamani's. They fit into the hands and feet absolutely organically. They move, they are completely healthy, and in general it is rather difficult to determine which one is superfluous. The boy does not look ugly at all - neither on ultrasound nor at birth did anyone notice that something was wrong with him. The midwives congratulated the mother on the birth of an absolutely healthy three-kilogram baby, and only then they guessed to count his fingers.
The parents who are besieged by the journalists are perfectly happy. The mother is a little shocked, but proud. The child's father said that he was also born with six-fingered, but his extra finger was removed. None of the family members had extra toes on their feet.
