Anyone who is familiar with the word "ufology" must have heard about the notorious anomalous zones, where meeting with aliens from other worlds is quite commonplace. But reality in fact turns out to be much more prosaic, and anomalousness here is more likely determined by banal statistics than by real "contacts".
But sometimes the statistics and the nature of the messages in individual places give surprises, as, for example, in the case of the evidence collected by our Polish colleague, Arkadiusz Myazga.
As strange as it may sound, a whole "anomalous zone" was found not somewhere far away - in the taiga, on another continent, or at least in a remote rural corner, but on the outskirts of the administrative center of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship - the Polish city of Rzeszow, whose population is about 184 thousand people. In this case, we are talking about the southern region of the city - Slocina, from where a number of interesting eyewitness reports came to Arkadiusz's disposal.
True, here it is also unlikely that it will be possible to "shake hands" with an alien, but, in any case, it is quite clear that eyewitnesses here are not talking about observations of "Chinese lanterns", but about themselves quite classic "flying saucers". Of greatest interest are the following stories:

At about 13:00, two women, while walking, noticed an unusual object that had appeared from nowhere. It was a flat-bottomed, inverted saucer-shaped, silvery metal object hovering over treetops 60 meters east of the observers.
A row of bright lights were located along its bottom. As noted by eyewitnesses, despite the sunny weather, the object did not cast a shadow on the ground. After a minute, the object very slowly began to move over the trees. When one of the women took out a mobile phone to take a picture of the UFO, the latter made a 90-degree turn and at high speed began to move away in a northeast direction with an increase in height, hiding behind a tree. Walking around the tree, the women saw only a clear sky. The impression was that the object had simply “disappeared”.

At about 17:50, Eva, one of the local residents, left the house to let the cat out into the yard. The pet suddenly began to behave strangely and bristled. Here, in a northeast direction, flashing lights - red, green and white - were seen hanging motionless against a dark sky at a distance of about 400-500 meters.
At first it seemed that it was an airplane, but it stuck out in the same place for too long. The eyewitness took binoculars (8x30) and through them saw that the lights were on a dark metal object, presumably in the form of a dome with a flat bottom. The object seemed large. In complete silence, he hovered over houses at a height of no more than 200 meters (about 20 degrees above the horizon). The lights were located horizontally on its bottom. Beams of light radiated outward from the square-shaped side lights.
Another ray emanated from the central part of the object, which was directed towards the eyewitness's house. At the same time, as noted, the lights did not illuminate the immediate surroundings. Through binoculars, it was also possible to see the characteristic details of the object's surface, on which horizontal lines were located, which were most likely depressions on the body. Five minutes later, the UFO began to move southward.
At this moment, two children joined the observation - boys aged 9 and 11, who left the house at the call of Eve. But they only saw bright lights in the dark sky. Eyewitnesses ran forward 100 meters and stopped by the road, observing the departure of the object in an easterly direction.

Despite the still quite early time (about 18:00), not a single passing car and not a single person was seen in the outskirts. On the street to which the eyewitnesses ran out, there was a strong sweetish smell, a little suffocating and unpleasant, which persisted here for an hour.
It is possible that its appearance was associated with an observed UFO. Another interesting point noted by Arkadiusz Miazga is the fact that during the observation Eva tried to contact him by phone, but for some unknown reason the call was interrupted.

This time two women witnessed the event - 22-year-old Eva and 64-year-old Anna (names have been changed). At about 10:42 pm, after the lights of the New Year's garland on the tree were turned off, the daughter noticed a golden light entering the room through the window. Its source was an orange ball, whose angular diameter exceeded the apparent dimensions of the full moon. The ball emitted many bright rays of various lengths.
During its flight (from south to northeast), the sphere pulsed, increasing and decreasing in size. A minute later, Eve's mother joined the observation, bringing with her binoculars, through which it was possible to better see the mysterious object. It was a golden-orange domed apparatus, emitting non-blinding light.
On its surface were many rounded pulsating lights, located close to each other. Also, eyewitnesses recalled that on the right side of the object there was a source of red light, on the left - green.
During the flight, the "saucer" twice tilted to the left side, and at these moments its lower surface appeared in the field of view, on which there was also a large number of rounded lights. After five minutes, the object retired eastward, hiding behind buildings.

In addition, it was noted that the object, as in the previous case, did not illuminate the surroundings with its light. Also, eyewitnesses reported that the radio was turned on at a high volume in their house, but they do not remember that during the UFO sighting they heard it. According to Eve's subjective feelings, the observation time was much more than the five minutes recorded by the clock. There was also another surprising circumstance.
The object moved over street lamps located 110 meters from the observers. At the moment of its flight over the lantern, the sheaf of light falling from the last seemed to disappear, as if it was "absorbed" by something. A strange "darkness" was seen spreading downward from the object, absorbing the outline of the houses (including the house 127 meters away) over which it flew.
During the observation, Eve experienced a paralyzing fear, the reasons for which she could not explain, although this was not the first time she had seen a UFO. That night she had trouble sleeping: until the morning she could not sleep.
All these three cases are described in more detail in the reports of Arkadiusz Miazgi himself, which can be found directly in his blog at the links below. In the same place, Arkadiusz revealed a small secret: all these three exciting stories described above happened to the same people.
This cannot but be alarming. There can be many assumptions here - from a simple joke to more complex versions, for example, that the observed phenomena are somehow tied to these specific people, or the latter somehow induce their manifestation. A. Myazga himself considers eyewitnesses to be trustworthy people who absolutely do not seek sensations. In the course of personal communication, the researcher noted that both women are afraid of the observed phenomena and would hardly want to face them again.
Still, other independent eyewitnesses were found in Slocin. Rather, another eyewitness. Who, wishing to maintain complete anonymity, refused a personal meeting with the ufologist, giving testimony remotely.
March 24, 2014
A message about this observation was sent to A. Myazga literally the next day after the event. The eyewitness was a middle-aged woman (name withheld), who that day, waking up early in the morning, looked out the window and noticed an unusual object. It was a "low-flying, strange object in the shape of an inverted saucer" with a dome in the center. There were lights on it: yellow, white and red.
The color of the body of the object itself was dark, which made it hardly noticeable against the background of low rain clouds. The movement is fast, uniform and silent, the trajectory is straight. The observation time was about 30 seconds - until the moment when the object disappeared behind the house. The direction of movement is from the south (from the side of St. Roch hill) to the east.

Then again we return to the eyewitnesses from the above first three observations (Anna and Eve), who are simply lucky to meet with UFOs.
August 4, 2014
On that sultry evening (about 10 pm), both women went for a walk to observe the lightning on the southern side of the sky. On the way to the south (at an azimuth of 145 degrees), behind low trees, they noticed several bright light sources in the field, located horizontally. It was a row of square lights, which were at a rather low height, in the amount of about seven pieces (and maybe more).
Behind them, the hill of St. Rocha. It turned out that they were at its foot about 350 meters from the eyewitnesses. One of the women (mother) intended to approach the meadow in order to take a closer look at the strange lights, but the daughter standing next to her dissuaded her from this, as if fearing something. Moreover, from the other side came a strange metallic sound - the sound of rubbing metal, which all grew, right up to the level of a squeak. In the end, they decided to return home, so it is not known what happened next to these lights. But it didn't end there.

At about 22.30, the women again went out into the street. In a southerly direction (azimuth 156 degrees), against the background of lightning, they noticed a bluish area in the sky, which behaved strangely: it either moved or trembled, but was constantly in one place. Armed with binoculars (8x35), the eyewitnesses were able to see something else: there were two more luminous objects that were not visible to the naked eye.
Each one consisted of a series of bright lights. The space between the objects wobbled strangely and had a bright blue color. It seemed as if they were exchanging some "energy". In general, the observation lasted five minutes.

Returning to the issue of the attachment of anomalous phenomena to specific people … Within a fairly short period of time, two women had a chance to encounter something really, if you believe their stories, amazing four times. Arkadiusz Miazga believes that 22-year-old Eva is in the focus of the phenomenon.
After the March event (2013), Eve often began to have dreams on a UFO topic, which she had not previously experienced. Suspicions about the "unusualness" of this girl were reinforced by another circumstance.
During the communication, interesting facts surfaced, which Eva spoke about with reluctance. According to her, at the age of 11-12, she was able to "see the aura" - a monochrome glow around people, as well as the "bioenergetic field" of a person. But the desire to develop these abilities did not arise, and over time they came to naught.
For the sake of objectivity, it should be noted that Eve and Anna are still not the only UFO eyewitnesses in this area. The main ones, but not the only ones. In total, for the period from 1997 to 2014, A. Myazga recorded about a dozen reports of UFO sightings in Slotsin.
Among the latter, there is a message dated August 24, 2014 about a bright domed object seen in the vicinity of Slocina after 23.00. The researcher believes that there could be more such messages, but the local population is not inclined to spread on such topics for fear of being ridiculed.
