In the Scottish capital, there are the so-called Edinburgh Catacombs - a complex of underground passages and premises, built around the 1790s as a kind of residential area for the poorest segments of the population, who had no choice but to live in dampness and stench underground.
There are one hundred and twenty rooms in total. They were reopened in 1980 when local resident Norman Rowan accidentally found the tunnel leading here. Today, the Edinburgh Catacombs are a tourist attraction visited by tens of thousands of city visitors every year.
It is interesting that in 1985, among the most distant rooms of the dungeon, a room was discovered, which later received the name "The Witch's Temple". It contained pentagrams, stools standing around, ceremonial robes, candles, daggers, strange texts, sculptures of dark deities and much more. Judging by the state of the objects found, some modern occultists chose this place shortly before and performed their rituals here.
The Scots did not find any traces of sacrifices in the "Witch Temple", and the premises remained intact, soon turning into another attraction for tourists. Rumor has it that here you can sometimes hear the quiet female singing, as well as ominous whispers and someone's quiet steps.
Last weekend the Englishman Lee Hart visited the Edinburgh Catacombs. The traveler took many photographs in the dungeon, capturing an empty room for the occultists. After leaving the cellars, the man casually looked through the recently obtained images and suddenly noticed something amazing on one of them.
The photograph of The Witches' Temple shows a strange purple glow just above the pentagram with stools around it. Moreover, a mysterious human-like figure is visible on the right. Hart is convinced that he was able to photograph a real ghost. Perhaps this is a phantom of a witch or a sorcerer who performed their mysterious rites here three decades ago.
