This lake is located five kilometers from our village. Strange events happened near him with two of my acquaintances.
In the summer of 2016, my friend Nikolai went fishing here. Here is his story.
- I arrived at the lake at about five o'clock in the afternoon. I sit on the shore with a fishing rod, pull perches and roach. It is getting dark. I made another cast and saw: the hook got tangled in the mud near the shore. I climbed to unhook it, and put the fishing rod next to it on the water. Then something flashed in the water.
I turn my head - two eyes are looking at me from under the water from a shallow depth. Round, large - about the size of a thumb and forefinger connected in a ring.
The pupils are not visible - the eyes, like white spots, look at me and do not blink. And the upper part of the head is gray, semicircular, smooth. Like a dolphin. Only where does a dolphin come from in the lake ?!
Out of fright, I grabbed a fishing rod, slapped it on the water next to my eyes. "Shoot!" - I say. The head sank into the depths and disappeared. And I jumped ashore, packed my things, jumped on a motorcycle and rushed home. I still can't imagine what it was. I have never seen anything like this on this lake.
Another incident happened to another friend of mine. He insisted that this was true. I give him the floor.
- It was summer, July. I lingered on fishing, it was getting dark. I was fishing at the far end of the lake, I did not notice other fishermen for the whole time. Quiet, calm. And on the lake not far from me there is a small pool overgrown with reeds. A willow tree grows on the bank of the creek.

And suddenly I hear: from where the tree is - laughter comes. Like a child laughing or a young girl. Where did people come from there? Are summer residents having a rest? I approached the pool, spread the reeds - and right at my feet two hands emerge from the water and grab my boots.
Hands like a human, only gray, shiny and with membranes between the fingers. I screamed with fright and jumped ashore. I ran off a little, looked around, a candle with a lantern. I see: in the place where I stood, a large tail with a fin appeared from the water, splashed and went under the water. I don't know what I saw there, maybe a mermaid? But I never went to this lake anymore.
