Ghosts, phantoms get in touch
How can you explain the cases of communication with deceased people, whose brains can no longer exist? Three months before his death, Metropolitan Filaret of Moscow saw in a dream his father the deceased, who told him: "Remember the 19th." The Metropolitan died on November 19.
• C. G. Jung in one autobiographical book described an incident from his life. He told how one of his acquaintances died, and so he saw in a dream that he approached him, to his bed, then took his hand, raised it, led him to his house, took him into his office and showed a book - then he woke up … Jung, deciding to check what he saw in a dream, went to his friend's house. The widow let him into the office, he went in, went to the shelf that he saw in the vision, found a book that his deceased acquaintance showed him, and its name was "Memory of the Dead." It became clear to Jung that this was a signal, perhaps some kind of inept, probably a little even powerless, but a signal that I am alive, I am - here's a sign for you.
There are times when there are not only ghosts of people, but also ghosts of pets that save their owners. B. He recognized the dog, it was his collie Jeff, who died six months ago. Robin got out of the car and began to call his dog, which had been dead for six months. But Jeff didn’t even turn, he walked forward, towards a turn so sharp that he could not see anything behind him from this place. The collapse is what Robin saw. • K. Larsen in her book "My travels in the world of spirits" told how once she witnessed how the astral body of a dying person repeatedly left the physical body before leaving it forever. He was a drunkard, a man who broke down under the weight of life's troubles, broke down and found solace in wine and drugs. At night, when he passed away, I happened to leave the physical body. After some time, he did the same, and so on several times. Each time it entered the physical body, it twisted in terrible convulsions. In the end, he left the body for the last time and was just starting to search when he suddenly saw me.
Straightening up, he looked at me in amazement. Then he turned and staggered out of the house, arriving in a state of profound confusion; at these moments he did not suspect that he would forever leave the body from which he had just emerged."

“What is this, a collective hallucination? - asks Voino-Yasenetsky and continues to reason: - The strangeness of this kind of phenomena is obvious. They are not real or are objective reality. You can't prove it. Ghosts can be watched. The only proof of materialization, which has a mechanical and light reality, can be the simultaneous perception of such a phenomenon by several people and at the same time is absolutely the same. If two normal, intelligent people give a precise description of the same vision, communicate their impressions to each other even in the presence of a phantom, then it would be absurd to think of an absolutely unconditional identical hallucination in both who saw such a phenomenon.

In the world literature, there are only a few scientific publications on this problem. What is the effect of autonomously materializing a phantom? Here is a detailed description of the classic case of such a phenomenon. The event described took place in the 19th century, namely in 1870-1874. We are talking about a 15-year-old girl - medium Florence Cook, who over the next three years more than once achieved the autonomous materialization of a tangible "spirit" who called herself "Cathy King". Each time, the materialization of the "spirit" took place in the presence of numerous witnesses and was under the control of two outstanding scientists: with the world famous physicist William Crookes and one of the founders of the transatlantic telegraph Cromwell Verley.
“Sitting on a chair, Florence Cook picked up a coin in her hands, wires were connected to the coins, and she thus closed an electrical circuit through which a weak current was passed. A large galvanometer was installed on a shelf at the entrance to the office. If the medium left her place in order to change into a “spirit,” the hand of the device would immediately reveal this. During the materialization sessions, when "Katie" walked in front of those present, sometimes talking to them, Florence was usually in a trance, being motionless, with barely perceptible breathing."
• The phantom effect can manifest itself in different circumstances, forms and manifestations. A. The illusion was so perfect that it seemed that they saw exactly a famous person in front of them: facial features, eyes, tone of voice and even speech had such an amazing resemblance. This phenomenon was repeated hundreds of times, without the participation of the girl's will. She sometimes assumed the appearance of her brother, who had died several years before. She not only had his face, but his waist and the size of his body.
A local doctor, who had repeatedly witnessed this strange phenomenon, wishing to ascertain whether he had been deceived by the hallucination, gave such an experience. We have this information from him, from the girl's father and from many other personal witnesses, persons of great respect and trust. This doctor wanted to weigh the girl on the scales in her usual state, then during her transformation, just when she looked like her brother, who was more than 20 years old and much larger and thicker than her. As it turned out, in this last form her weight was almost twice as much.
In modern physiology, there are still no suitable mechanisms that remotely and indirectly explain the phenomenon of autonomous materialization of a phantom. With certainty, it is only possible to assert that the appearance of this effect occurs in a state of altered consciousness. It appears only in cases: in a dream; during severe emotional fatigue; at critical moments of death of a biological organism; with severe mental illness, such as epilepsy; damage to the brain, as well as during meditation practice.
