And now let's go back to the ghosts, though not great and famous, but the most ordinary people. In 1962, a resident of London, Charles Krempton, the cashier of a local power plant, died. The event seems to be unremarkable. Especially when you consider that several people die every second in the world. And the cashier is not such an important figure to firmly cut into human memory. And nevertheless, this person was remembered for a long time. Especially visitors to one of the pubs in the former London suburb of Battersea. Here the late Krempton appeared almost every day after 6 pm, took a seat at a table in the corner and sipped beer at a leisurely pace. And this "beer" ceremony lasted for almost ten years.
And now Krempton was gone. But his place, nevertheless, was not empty, because a neat old man, or rather his ghost, continued to visit the pub. Moreover, he appeared in his usual place every day and at the same time as during his lifetime.
At first, visitors to the pub and its owner were not very comfortable in the company of the ghost of Krempton, after all, and there was an alien from the other world nearby. But then everyone gradually got used to the neighborhood of ghosts.
And once the owner of the establishment even tried to treat the ghostly old man to his favorite drink and presented him with a glass of Ginger Eil ginger lemonade. But Krempton just grinned … and instantly disappeared.
The ghost left the drinking establishment, like any visitor: he got up from the table and walked slowly to the exit.
Of course, representatives of the media soon learned about the spirit of the former collector. They walked into a pub, drank beer and just watched the unique visitor. No one dared to interview the ghost.
True, one of the reporters still once decided to photograph the Krempton phantom. However, nothing came of it: there was no image on the film. But on the other hand, Krempton himself took offense at such an unceremonious behavior of the journalist: after that he did not appear at his favorite table in the pub for a whole week.
But between the regular customers of the pub there was a kind of tacit agreement that no one would disturb the “guest” from the other world and take a place near him.

And this ghost appeared in Germany, in one of the outskirts of Hamburg - Altona. A certain Gerhardt Dieter worked there for a long time as a postman. And this means that he was, in fact, the first who brought people happy or sad news.
But in the fall of 1960, the postman was gone. However, just a few days after his death, Dieter … unexpectedly appeared on his old route with a bag over his shoulder.
Many of the residents of the district did not yet know that the postman had died, so they looked with surprise at his empty bag, as well as at the fact that he walked along the street without entering the entrances. The impression was that Dieter went for a walk. And I took my bag for a joke.
In the evening in the pub, most of the conversation revolved around the postman. However, the reaction to them was predictable: no one believed in Dieter's ghost, believing that the so-called eyewitnesses were either joking or they had vision problems.
Dieter's old friends adhered to the same point of view. But nevertheless, they nevertheless decided to personally check the correspondence of the rumors to reality.
And to their great surprise, Dieter did appear. But he behaved very strangely: he passed by without answering greetings, then turned a corner and disappeared.
Word of the ghost spread like lightning. And on the morning of the next day, the street was filled with a large crowd of curious people, as well as several dozen reporters. But Dieter disappointed his "fans". This time he did not appear.
But, despite the failure, lovers of sensations and secrets still took their places on the street in the morning and, like fans of their idol, expected the ghost of the postman to appear. Soon, professional parapsychologists, as well as a police inspector, appeared in this company.
The unsuccessful ghost hunt continued for several days. And then one day Dieter appeared again. Moreover, during their "working" hours. But, as before, he silently walked past the crowd and disappeared around the corner of the house.
