Last Friday, July 7, 2017, a law enforcement officer from Lordsburg, located in the southwestern US state of New Mexico, presented footage of an unknown entity (see video below).

A police officer, who chose to remain anonymous, said he was driving south of Lordsburg at night when something that looked like a Moffman hit his cell phone camera.

“I saw this thing out of the corner of my eye,” he said.

A 38-second video shot through the windshield shows the road, visible in headlights, across a desert area. At the 5th second, a black humanoid figure with white bright eyes and long arms appears in the frame.

“I was alone. And then there was a strange light and a buzzing sound, - the officer explains the bright light, which is visible in the upper right corner at the 18th second of the video. It was a bright spinning flash of light that illuminated everything around, and then it instantly went out. Immediately after that, all the buzzing sounds disappeared."

It was this outbreak that prompted the eyewitness to take a closer look at his video. The officer said that after the incident he had a "strange and eerie feeling." He does not believe it could have been a bear, as he says "there are no bears in the desert in southern New Mexico."

“I was armed to the teeth, but trust me, I had no desire to walk through the dark mountainous terrain to understand what it was,” the policeman added.

At first, the officer who emailed his video to Cryptozoology News asked not to publish it. But then, while collecting background information about the exact location and time of shooting, it was decided to make the video available to the public.
