One of the legends of the Vvedenskoye cemetery says that somewhere in its very center there is a majestic crypt in the antique style, which has a miraculous statue of Christ. Once upon a time this crypt was erected by the order of a millionaire - they say that in this way he decided to perpetuate the memory of his beloved daughter, who died very young. At the entrance to the crypt, the inconsolable father erected a legendary statue.
It is worth citing a quote from a rare book: “There was once another attraction at the Vvedenskoye cemetery, known to all Orthodox Moscow. But in Soviet times, this, for obvious reasons, could not have been mentioned earlier in any source. On the tombstone of the Knopp factory owners, there was a figure of Christ, revered as miraculous. A. T. Saladin describes this tombstone as follows: “A huge oblong platform with a fence in the Greek style, with vases on pillars, is enclosed by the ruins of an antique portico.
