The pilots of the American reconnaissance aircraft witnessed 7 UFOs in May 1952. The crew report can be found in the national archives, which also includes a radar image and an eyewitness drawing showing UFOs.
According to the report, as the crew moved on a given course, a group of seven objects appeared in the sky.
The report states that on May 19, 1952 at 20:05 local time, objects appeared to the left of the nose of the bomber at a distance of 80-100 km.
According to the crew commander, they did not change course and after a while approached unidentified luminous objects in the sky. They reminded one of the crew members of strictly ordered contrails.
The wind speed at that moment was about 65 km / h, but the objects did not move anywhere, being located at an altitude of 7-18 km. The UFOs were approximately 30 meters apart and positioned vertically to the ground.
The United States Air Force investigated the incident and carefully studied the report. The military representatives then reported that it was probably a group of balloons, and the case was closed.

However, this conclusion, in the opinion of modern UFO researchers, had nothing to do with reality, since balloons cannot remain stationary for so long and maintain a strict structure in the sky.
