Video: What Could ESP Mean? | Episode 1507 | Closer To Truth 2024, May

One of the main paradoxes of the modern world is associated with the paranormal. Experiments with the participation of psychics are officially documented, people with supernatural abilities advise not only illiterate villagers, but also representatives of the intellectual elite, as well as major politicians. However, academic science does not notice inexplicable phenomena that do not fit into the usual picture of the world

Meanwhile, the inhabitants of the planet were divided into ardent admirers and fierce opponents of everything supernatural and incomprehensible. Some believe in everything, up to the resurrection of dead people, while others without hesitation deny the existence of paranormal phenomena. Meanwhile, the truth is somewhere nearby, and, perhaps, soon the nature and mechanisms of extrasensory perception will be studied and explained from a scientific point of view.

Just imagine how our distant ancestors lived … They had no reliable home, no supermarket around the corner, no cell phone in their pockets. At the dawn of his development, man could not oppose anything to wild nature, except for a great desire to survive. And to find a spring with fresh water, to choose a place for a camp, to act harmoniously during a hunt, people were helped not by technical devices, but by something else … Sense? Yes, the sixth sense, which animals have to a certain extent, was characteristic of ancient man.

There are many folk signs associated with the behavior of animals, birds and insects, by which a person can determine the upcoming weather, learn about an impending earthquake or hurricane. It is known that during the 2004 tsunami, almost all animals managed to escape, but the human casualties were enormous.

In other words, our ancestors, in addition to the notorious club and a pair of keen eyes, also used psychic abilities. This natural talent, as parapsychologists believe, has been preserved in a rudimentary form in all modern people. To activate such abilities, a strong blow of fate is needed: a disaster, a powerful stress, clinical death. However, they can be independently developed in more relaxed conditions.

One gets the feeling that lately everyone who is not lazy has begun to possess superpowers. Newspapers are full of relevant ads for every taste and wallet, television offers to enjoy a demonstration of paranormal abilities. The authorities, in turn, are also trying to keep their nose to the wind: the State Duma has long ago developed a bill limiting advertising of occult and mystical services. But he will not start discussing it in any way, which, perhaps, is for the best. After all, it is probably worth trying to solve the problem in a different way than simply introducing prohibited measures.

But even 25 years ago we practically did not hear anything about them, as if there were no psychics at all. But this is not so, since time immemorial they have been exterminated, canonized or experimented with, keeping everything in the strictest confidence.

HEIRS OF APOLLO

In the era of polytheism, when people believed in several gods, in every city there was a shaman, sorcerer, oracle (there are many names, but the essence is the same - a person who has the ability to contact forces that represent the other side of reality). They were revered, worshiped, their advice was adhered to without question - the ancient psychics did not contradict the religious beliefs of people.

Monotheism has replaced polytheism. Naturally, the new religious concept did not recognize competitors. Therefore, witches, healers, magicians and sorcerers began to burn at the stake, attributing their ability to conspiracy with the devil. Most of the names anathematized have not survived to this day, but some history has nevertheless preserved.

Giuseppe Balsamo, better known as Count Cagliostro, neglected the fate of a scholarly monk, which his uncle had prepared for him. Since his youth, he was fond of alchemy, Freemasonry and the other world. Possessing an amazing ability to arouse the trust and love of high-ranking persons, he managed to win the favor of Louis XVI himself. Together with his wife Lorenza, the same tireless adventurer like him, the self-proclaimed count constantly shocked the audience with either the elixir of youth, or the means to preserve beauty, or the spiritualistic seances that he succeeded most of all. But the patience of the inquisitors came to an end when he decided to found a Masonic lodge in Rome, and he was sentenced to death. However, for some unknown reason, the execution was changed to life imprisonment. His wife was sent to a monastery.

If the abilities of Cagliostro were questioned even by his contemporaries, then they still believe in the gift of Nostradamus, whose predictions extend right up to 3797. When the Inquisition found out that a young medical student had written a dying boy a recipe for a miraculous potion that put him on his feet in a matter of days, Nostradamus was suspected of devilry. At night, the inquisitor visited the healer, seeing whom, Nostradamus said: “I see a red glow in your chest. Your Last Judgment will take place in seven days. The monk retired in horror; exactly one week later he died of a heart attack. Nostradamus managed to escape from the omnipresent Inquisition in a distant French province and subsequently gain worldwide fame.

A contemporary of Nostradamus, whom the villagers called simply Mother Shipton, did not gain world fame, apparently, having faded in the shadow of his glory. However, she was not a bastard either. A simple village woman who lived in the 16th century prophesied the following: “The thoughts of people will fly around the world faster than an eyelid will blink … Proud people will pass through the high hills. The carriage will run without horses; people will walk under water, they will ride, and sleep, and talk."

From early childhood, Mother Shipton was not like everyone else. Furniture was constantly moving in the house, and once the adoptive mother found a cradle with a baby in … a fireplace. The mother did not even hope to marry her daughter: no one needed a girl with a crooked nose, a twisted body and huge bulging eyes. Nevertheless, a neighbor's carpenter soon married her. As they used to say in the village, it was not without a love spell. Soon Mother Shipton began to predict the future for all the inhabitants of the village, and when word of her spread, even for visiting noble persons. She predicted death by a knife to the city mayor, ascension to the throne and celibacy for Elizabeth I, plague throughout London. It’s easy to guess, she also predicted her own death with great accuracy.

CHECK FOR LICE

However, the last 150 years turned out to be the most "fruitful" for psychics. Many mediums and seers became the forefathers of philosophical movements, for example: Helena Blavatsky, George Gurdjieff and Aleister Crowley. Some, like Wolf Messing and Jane Dixon, were secret advisers to politicians. Others were more fond of public demonstrations, such as the famous Uri Geller bending spoons at a glance.

Of course, psychics have both admirers and opponents. Among the latter were illusionists, who believe that mediums and soothsayers deceive the gullible public, presenting tricks as miracles.

The great Harry Houdini in the last years of his life began to discredit fraudsters. He attended seances incognito and as soon as he noticed a catch, he tore off the mask and proclaimed: “I am Houdini! And you are a swindler!"

Magician James Randy once set himself the task of debunking Uri Geller: Randy repeatedly came up with ways to prevent Geller from cheating.

I must say, once he managed to disrupt the performance of a psychic. The notorious Safronov brothers vigilantly observe the psychics competing on the TV screen … Apparently, the magicians believe that they understand the mechanism of psychics much better than scientists. However, the ministers of science do not agree with them and continue to struggle over the most difficult task, which has not yet been fully resolved.

The first laboratory for the study of human superpowers was created in the USSR on the initiative of Stalin, impressed by the abilities of Rudolf Messing. The leader was very interested in the mechanisms of volitional influence on the consciousness of people. And in the future, closed research institutes were engaged in the problem of extrasensory perception, which, however, never made public the results of their research.

Nevertheless, some information leaked out and gave rise to rumors, and only after the collapse of the USSR, information about the experimental psychics became available. Rosa Kuleshova, who knew how to read text and determine the color with her fingertips, and Ninel Kulagina, who demonstrated the miracles of telekinesis holding a metal ball in the air, and Juna, whose healing hands brought relief to Brezhnev himself, became famous … Meanwhile, academic science prefers not to pay attention to the paranormal This principle of the ostrich is far from new - remember at least the theories of Copernicus, Einstein, genetics, etc. Everything that a person cannot explain, he tries to deny. This is certainly easier than accepting the fact that the boundaries of modern science are too narrow for a scientific explanation of the fact of extrasensory perception.

Scientists, parapsychologists and psychiatrists, having united, have drawn up a program that is capable of more or less objectively proving or refuting the existence of a person's developed psychic abilities. Potential psychics are asked to determine which image is in the envelope, tell about the whereabouts of a person from his photograph, and feel the living and necrotic energy. However, thanks to television, these methods are already widely known.

CLOSE YOUR EYES AND YOU WILL SEE!

Extrasensory abilities can be found in oneself not only after some crisis or affect, but also engaging in, for example, therapeutic fasting or yoga exercises. This means that hypersensitivity can be developed. And here the analogy with music is appropriate: of course, to become Paganini or Mozart, you need to have colossal natural abilities, but in order to master the profession, you can simply graduate from a music school.

Do you have a well-developed intuition and small insights, such as, for example, a premonition of a phone call or an unconscious choice of the right road in an unfamiliar area? Then we can conclude that you have the makings of extrasensory abilities.

According to statistics, crashed planes are less than 80% full. And there are more passengers who are late for fatal flights than usual.

It has been established that left-handers, due to the greater development of the right side of the brain, which is responsible for irrational perception, more often than others show extrasensory abilities. However, in order to develop them, you need patience, perseverance, and most importantly - understanding why this is needed.

To get started, you can practice on improvised objects using a simple technique.

Matchbox

Create a calm environment by sitting in a comfortable position. Examine the matchbox.

Close your eyes and try to see the box with your inner vision. Consider the drawing on

it, the inscriptions.

Turn the box in your mind and look at it from the back. Then open your eyes and check the original. How correctly did you see everything?

Ask someone to put some matches in the box. Then try to get your inner vision inside the box and see the number of matches. As you practice, you will be able to distinguish your own thoughts and assumptions from extrasensory perception.

Family album

Each house has an album with photographs. Hold your palm over the old photos, over the images of the deceased grandparents, and then over the photos of recent years, which capture the prosperous relatives. Try to feel the difference in sensations. It can be tingling, cold, or, conversely, warm. The next step will be to experiment with the albums of your friends. Try, based on your feelings, to determine whether the person in the photo is alive or dead.

Even if you do not discover the psychic in yourself, your sensitivity will increase. After all, it is known that people who trust their intuition are less likely than others to get into accidents, disasters, less often they can get poisoned by stale products and their body is more resistant to disease.

But there are also methods that require detailed study. One of them is testing with water. The psychic is asked to influence the water energetically, for example, by putting the word "love" into it. The resulting material is then compared under a microscope with an untouched control sample. As an excellent conductor, water is very sensitive to impact: under the influence of positive emotions, its molecules form beautiful structures that resemble snowflakes or stars. But if thoughts about death, suffering, violence are imposed on water, then its structure is distorted and takes on ugly outlines. The quality of the psychic's work is determined both by the strength of the impact on the structure of water, and by the accuracy of conveying shades of emotions.

Psychics are also tested using a lie detector. If a psychic comes up with or doubts his words on the go, or feels fear and is not confident in his abilities, he is given out headlong by the so-called autonomic oscillations of the body, which the polygraph registers. A psychic who does not fantasize, but voices information coming from outside, describes the picture he sees or his feelings, will pass the test with success.

However, the most accurate results are provided by an encephalograph. Scientists have noticed that when a psychic tunes in to work, the function of certain deep structures of the brain is activated, which is shown by an encephalogram. Perhaps this is the very "receiver" with the help of which clairvoyants catch information inaccessible to an ordinary person. One of the problems that scientists have faced is the inability to identify a person's extrasensory abilities by external signs. Having met him on the street, on the subway or anywhere else, you can never determine that a psychic is standing in front of you, unless he himself wants to open up to you.

FROM ONE SOURCE

It is important to understand that psychics cannot be compared to universal soldiers, each of them develops his own gift. If, for example, think about musicians, then we can say that one person will make a good pianist, and another will make a conductor. It all depends on his innate abilities.

According to the method of obtaining information (depending on which of the sense organs is the leading one), psychics are divided into seers, hearers and ki-nesthetics. Before the seeing psychic, information appears in the form of vivid images, flashing pictures, emerging letters and numbers. Others really hear people's thoughts, voices. These may be the voices of the dead, the voice of a guardian angel and others, but scientists do not classify representatives of the other world, preferring to believe that all information comes from one source. The most difficult thing is for kineticists, because they literally feel everything that is happening or happened with the object of interest. By the way, the famous skin vision is most often characteristic of kinesthetics.

By the role of psychics, they can be divided into bioenergetics (healers), clairvoyants (knowing about the past) and clairvoyants (predictors). Healers use their ability to manipulate bioenergy to influence the patient's etheric body, they can cure some diseases: migraines, colds, peptic ulcer.

Treatment without drugs is a kind of energy pill, and its action also has a limited duration. In addition, it is not suitable for everyone, for example, a cancerous tumor may even increase when "pumping" energy from the outside.

At the moment, experts are sure that healing of mental and psychological problems gives the best results.

Psychics can help get out of depression, cure phobias, get rid of drug and alcohol addiction.

Clairvoyants help not only ordinary citizens, but also law enforcement agencies in the investigation of intricate cases. Doctor of Medical Sciences and Professor of Psychiatry Mikhail Vinogradov, known today throughout the country thanks to the "Battle of Psychics" program, studied this phenomenon even during the Soviet era and attracted those who knew to help people. As part of his working group, psychics have repeatedly helped to find the bodies of the killed, successfully searched for the missing. And today, psychics who take part in television shows help in solving crimes. There was a case when psychics denied the version of the police about the suicide of two girl friends, accurately describing the appearance of the person who pushed them from a height. Law enforcement agencies have reopened the case and are conducting operational work.

Even more striking success is achieved by psychics in disaster sites. For example, after the earthquake in Iran in 1990, a team of Russian rescuers, accompanied by psychics, managed to save more people than foreign brigades armed with sophisticated equipment. Psychics simply pointed out the exact places where there were still living people. Together with Mikhail Vinogradov, psychics also visited Chernobyl immediately after the explosion, trying to find out the causes of the accident … They received lethal doses of radiation, but in an incomprehensible way retained their full health.

The most controversial aspect of the work of psychics is predictions for the future, clairvoyance. According to many scientists, and indeed all people in general, the future is multi-variant, and voicing a specific forecast is programming the process of the development of events, which in itself can already be harmful. And the information may not be useful, but destructive. Let's say a person was predicted the date of his death. What will he do, knowing about the imminent death? Prepare for a dignified departure from life, or maybe just psychologically break down. And if, for example, a mother finds out that her sick child will die, will she really have to give up? Therefore, psychologists advise not to guess at all for the future, and among practicing psychics there is an unspoken rule to voice only that information that will help a person change his life in such a way,to avoid a tragic scenario.

In any case, predicting the future is a dangerous business. There was even a professional anecdote on this topic: "A smart psychic makes predictions 100 years ahead, and a stupid one - for a year." It is clear that it is easier to check forecasts after a year than in a whole century.

If experts have roughly figured out what information and how psychics receive and how, then the question of the source of all their knowledge remains open to this day. Undoubtedly, pundits will not be satisfied with Mikhail Vinogradov's version of the existence of a parallel world of subtle energies, to which supersensitive people have special access. However, oddly enough, this version sounds in unison with the foundations of the religious worldview, although the church is the first on the list of opponents of psychics.

Let's remember the main doctrine of Christianity - the concept of Heaven and Hell. This is the same parallel world. Only he, according to psychics, is not divided into heavenly tabernacles and fiery hell, but is inhabited by a variety of entities, from which mediums and prophets receive information. These are the souls of the dead, and creatures designed to help people in their development, and the forces of nature.

By the way, white and black magic is a conditional division. Energy, according to Vinogradov, does not have a positive or negative connotation; the whole point is how psychics use it and for what purpose.

The only compromise that scientists (and only the most open-ended of them) are ready to make in the matter of paranormal phenomena is to accept a working hypothesis about the existence of a single energy-information field of the Earth, which includes the past, present and future. A similar hypothesis was proposed by the Russian scientist Vladimir Vernadsky, who believed that a field is formed around the Earth that imprints and preserves all the products of human mental and creative activity. However, this version is still devoid of evidence. Perhaps, it is with the scientific discovery of the fundamental source of energy and information, with which healers and psychics work, that understanding of the nature of paranormal phenomena will become possible.

THE LESS YOU KNOW THE BETTER YOU SLEEP

Unfortunately, sometimes psychics themselves do not understand where and why they got access to superknowledge or their exceptional abilities. Therefore, they use them haphazardly and are not always able to resist the temptations of the material world. According to Mikhail Vinogradov, the main enemy of a practicing healer or psychic is self-interest. A gift received from nature, which is often inherited, cannot be used for personal gain. In this case, the channel is blocked and the psychic can no longer perceive information from subtle reality.

Young, especially novice psychics who have just felt their strength “often fall under the power of pride. It creates the illusion of superiority, making the problems of their patients look small and insignificant, which also prevents them from providing the necessary assistance. Another common attack is fear. This feeling haunts psychics who are unable to draw a clear line between the real and the other world, and pictures of brutal murders or the voices of the dead have an unbearable effect on them.

Psychics seem to let the situation with which they work through themselves, and their psyche sometimes cannot stand it. For example, if a murder is being investigated, then the psychic can lose consciousness, penetrating the soul of the victim who was strangled.

No wonder that many clairvoyants say that their abilities are not so much a gift as a heavy cross. Nevertheless, many of them try to do everything possible to enhance their abilities, polish their skills. For this, each psychic has his own methods. Someone is engaged in fasting so that the physical body is cleansed and does not interfere with the perception of subtle energies. Someone is engaged in meditation: he learns to turn off thinking, all senses, and then totally focus his attention on the problem. And in order to restore the physical and mental strength spent during exhausting sessions, many do special exercises, do yoga.
