Mysterious marks in the 90s appeared among residents of the city of Kostroma and the Kostroma region. And again, neither a rational explanation for their appearance, nor any consequences of these anomalies - nothing.

So, on January 29, 1993. Andrei A. did a lot of work: he bought an old shed (trailer) and moved it to his garden. Came home late, dirty and tired. I had a haste supper, then washed and went to bed. Before the morning, Andrei saw a colorful and very colorful dream: as if he was inside some closed, limited space filled with iridescent bright light. Waking up, the man went to wash and, seeing his hands, was taken aback. The inner surface of the elbow joint on the right hand was decorated with a very intricate blue-green pattern in the form of a plate turned upside down (about 3 centimeters long, 0.8 centimeters high). At the bottom right was also an inverted number "1" (height - 0.5 centimeters, width - about a millimeter). A ring (1.2 millimeters in diameter) adjoined the “unit” from below, and to the left of it from the plate in a multitude of thin wavy lines emanated, some of which, curving to the right, passed through the ring. At the top, a millimeter-thick line emerged from the bottom of the plate and, like a spiral, wrapped around the hand to the wrist.
And Andrey was completely amazed when, looking at his left hand, he saw on it exactly the same drawing, but as if in a mirror image. The man showed the images to his wife, which endlessly amazed her. At the same time, Andrei did not feel anything unpleasant in the elbow fossa, it seemed that the plate and everything else was simply drawn. The man rubbed the image with his hand - it did not erase. I poured water on it - everything was instantly washed off, as if watercolors or aniline paints …

Mysterious cross on the back
Another interesting case took place in the village of Ikonnikovo (Krasnoselsky District, Kostroma Region). On a summer morning, Nikolai Vasilyevich S., stripped to the waist, was rubbing himself with a wet terry towel. Suddenly, his wife gasped from behind: "Where did you get the cross on your back ?!" Deciding that this was not good, the woman even cried.
Looking in the mirror at his back, Nikolai Vasilyevich really saw a cross there. He seemed to be sunbathing with a paper cross glued to his back. Then the "stencil" was removed - and a white image remained on the tanned skin.

Indeed, the cross did not cause any anxiety or inconvenience to the man: the skin did not hurt, did not itch, did not itch. A few days later it became noticeable that the wonderful image was gradually fading, merging with the "background". Finally it disappeared completely …
Testing with cryptic drawings
The heroine of the next story is a young woman Anna K., who lived in the city of Manturovo in the same Kostroma region. Anna is a housewife, her family life was successful, the woman did not complain about her health. She was interested in anomalous phenomena, loved to read about them and watch TV shows, while she herself never saw any "miracles".
In October 1995. Anna dreamed of a young, tall, very slender and beautiful woman, dressed in something long and black. This clothes favorably emphasized the beauty's thin waist and lush hips. The woman's face was elongated, with huge dark brown eyes, and her hair, slicked back, fell in curls to her shoulders. Anna perceived her as an unearthly creature.
The woman stretched out her hand and handed Anna a tiny jar like the Vietnamese "Star": "Take this cream, everyone uses this cream!"
There was an image on the lid of the jar - something like a horseshoe or a shovel blade. Anna did not remember if she had taken the cream - that was the end of her sleep.
On December 7, the woman woke up early in the morning and felt something burning her right breast. Going to the mirror, Anna was stunned: a little higher than the nipple there was an image - exactly the same as on the jar of cream. In the evening of the same day, the drawing disappeared, but another appeared in its place - the size of the previous one. It was, as it were, a schematic depiction of a bird spreading its wings (as in flight).
In the future, Anna more than once or twice found drawings on herself, which consistently appeared and disappeared. They were all the same "bird", only each time deployed at a different angle in flight, and various additions to it in the form of semi-ellipses, open circles with wrapped edges, large points on the silhouette of the bird and circles, as well as broken lines connecting these points …
Each time the appearance of patterns was accompanied by a burning sensation, a slight tingling sensation and even a general (albeit insignificant) increase in temperature. At this time Anna felt some weakness and apathy.
It is likely that the woman was tested by an extraterrestrial, more advanced civilization. It is also possible that they tried to convey some information to her through symbols. One thing is clear: drawings and marks are the result of the activity of intelligent beings. There are no answers to all other questions that arise yet …
By the way, we just note that such anomalies, that is, the appearance of mysterious drawings on the skin of people, is a fairly common phenomenon in the world. And scientists still cannot explain them rationally. However, there is an assumption that all these "mystical marks" are somehow connected with the desire of a person to apply symbolic tattoos to the skin.
