During the week, the Chupacabra visited four farmsteads in the Malin regional center of the Zhytomyr region. Usually, the predator opens the cages, takes out the rabbits and drinks the blood from them. In one yard, the chupacabra also arranged the carcasses of dead animals in a row … according to the size and color of the fur.

“Two black rabbits, apparently, did not fit in a row, so the chupacabra put them on top of other animals of the same color,” says Galina Yarmolenko, a 55-year-old resident of Malina. - When in the morning I went into the yard and saw such a picture near the barn, my speech was taken away. Of course, I've heard about the Chupacabra before, but I never thought that she would choose my yard. During the night, the beast killed three dozen rabbits. Only one survived, the smallest one, from fear he hid under the cage and sat there until my arrival.
The woman claims that there were no injuries on the carcasses of the dead animals, except that tiny holes through which, presumably, the animal sucked blood.
- Did you hear anything suspicious at night? - I'm interested in Galina Ivanovna.
- The fact is that I live on the next street, and this house has been empty for several years, - the woman explains. - Here I keep a garden, and now I have raised rabbits. There is no dog in the yard either, so it turns out that there was no one to stop the Chupacabra. She ate her fill, then laid out the slaughtered rabbits as she wanted, and calmly left my yard. In parting, she left traces of huge claws on the planks torn off.
Galina Yarmolenko has not yet regained consciousness after the visit of the night guest. The woman is glad that at least she did not see this monster. Meanwhile, another resident of Malin personally met the Chupacabra. The man assures that he faced the beast almost head-on.
“Around midnight, I heard rabbits squealing in their cages,” recalls 60-year-old Pavel Isaenko. - First of all, I thought that my dog, a purebred shepherd dog, got loose and scared the animals. I immediately got dressed, went out on the threshold and turned on the light. The next two cells are not far from the front door, and I went there. And suddenly a huge creature flew out to meet me. It did not run, but moved in a strange way, practically not touching the ground. There were about ten meters to the fence, and the beast covered this distance in two jumps! Then he easily jumped over the high fence and disappeared. I was lucky that the monster did not knock me down, flying half a meter.

- Everything happened in a split second, - Pavel Petrovich answers. - I managed to notice that this creature is brown or dark red in color and huge in size - from a person. Very short hair all over the body. Apparently, a Chupacabra came to see me.
- How many rabbits died?
- Fortunately, I went outside on time, so the animal managed to get only one animal out of the cage. The chupacabra took its prey with it. I found the dead rabbit only in the morning, 30 meters from the fence. He was whole, but bloodless. The chupacabra simply climbed into the cage: tore out the top boards on the roof. I laid linoleum on the roof, and so, she tore this linoleum with claws into narrow strips.
- You said that the yard is guarded by a shepherd. Where was she when the Chupacabra was in the yard?
- I was also interested in this. As soon as the animal left my yard, I went to the doghouse. Our shepherd dog Mars is very smart, he understands from a half glance. I wanted to scold Mars, and when I looked into the booth, I changed my mind about "scolding" the dog - his eyes were full of horror. It seems that the shepherd, like me, does not know who he met at night.
- After this incident, you will not stop breeding rabbits?
- I keep them for the sake of little grandchildren, - Pavel Petrovich admits. - Children love to take fluffy animals in their arms, play with them. Therefore, no Chupacabra will scare me.
Malinsky regional hunting expert Sergey Buzenko suggests that the chupacabra is most likely a mutant of a wolf with some kind of beast - otherwise the behavior of the dog cannot be explained:
- From the stories of eyewitnesses it is clear that the beast is physically very strong, can overcome a two-meter height in one jump, domestic dogs hide when it appears. This suggests that the chupacabra has either habits or the smell of a wolf, which the domestic dog is very afraid of. Usually during a hunt, a dog, smelling a wolf, presses its ears and tries to hide. She is not so much afraid of anyone except this beast.
However, if the wolf hunts at any time of the day, then this mysterious beast - only at night.
