A balance rock is a natural geological formation, a large rock or very large boulder resting on other rocks. Such a formation very often looks very wobbly and unbalanced. 1. The Balancing Rock in Utah
This rock is one of the top attractions in Arok National Park in Utah. The total height of the rock is 39 meters, while the height of the balancing part is 16.75 meters. The large boulder at the top of the cliff can be compared in size to three school buses. Until recently, the rock had a companion, a similar but much smaller boulder that collapsed in the winter of 1975.

7. Mexican Utah Hat
A rock formation called the Mexican Hat is located on Highway 163, 24 miles west of Bluff. The name comes from the special shape that resembles a Mexican sombrero 60 feet wide and 12 feet long.
8. Devilish marble in Australia
The Devil's Marble is one of the most famous Australian rocks, located south of Tennant Creek. These huge, very beautiful boulders can be seen everywhere here. Their size ranges from 50 centimeters to 6 meters in diameter. Many of them seem extremely unbalanced, as if they are about to collapse into the abyss.
