In ancient times, 15 thousand tons of granite mysteriously disappeared from it
The moat is located on the Krestovy peninsula, not far from the AvtoVAZ base.

The enormity of the find is clearly visible from space: in the photo it is a darker strip along the lower land area. Its length is 209 meters. From a height of human growth, the moat looks like a deep (up to 5 meters) and wide (from 4 to 12 meters) track, overgrown with forest.
Traces of stone tools are visible on the walls of the moat. Once people got from here at least 15 thousand tons of granite. It looks like they were folding some part along the moat in the form of walls, which then fell inward. And where the rest of the stone is is not clear. Archaeologists find it difficult to explain the purpose of the ditch and the time of its appearance - there is not enough "evidence". However, it is possible that this moat is somehow connected with the megaliths of the island of Vera, which were built in the 4th millennium BC.
Next summer, scientists are going to slightly clear the moat of underbrush. Perhaps then it will be possible to notice some more eloquent details of this mysterious object.
