The picture, which captures the mysterious phenomenon, was discovered in the NASA archives.

Moon. November 1969. There are two on the moon: Charles Conrad and Alan Bean. From the second lunar expedition. Arrived aboard Apollo 12. Some of them took pictures, and some were fiddling with the instruments of the scientific complex ALSEP (Apollo Lunar Surface Experiment Package - the bar is visible in the picture).

The complex included a magnetometer, a positive ion detector, an ionization manometer, a spectrometer for registering electrons and protons in solar plasma, a seismometer, a radioisotope power source, a telemetric system, geological instruments, a spring balance, a device for determining the angle of elevation of the Sun, a colorimetric scale with three primary colors spectrum.

What exactly was then occupied by each who arrived on the moon is not unknown. Therefore, it is not known who is in the picture. In the accompanying inscription to it, preserved by NASA, only one thing is said about the captured figure: "astronaut." Although without explanation one could guess.

The "Astronaut", however, looks strange - either he is shining, or immersed in some kind of shimmering cloud.

One mysterious picture - with flickering - was found by the famous ufologist Scott C. Waring (UFOlogist). There is also another photo - very similar, which was found by colleagues. The glow is slightly weaker on it. Both pictures were taken during the Apollo 12 expedition."

UFO Scott suggested that the two auroras are somehow related to two lightning strikes into the rocket that launched Apollo 12 from Earth. This is a well-known fact - the expeditions were almost returned due to the resulting damage, which in the end turned out to be reparable.

Sophisticated logic led the ufologist to the idea that, through lightning, certain energetic entities - of course, aliens - had infiltrated the astronauts. They then shone on the moon. So, in one cloud, Charles Conrad, in the other - Alan Bean. Each with its own essence.

Of the sound hypotheses explaining the phenomenon, there is only one: the optics glare. The white spacesuit, which reflects sunlight well, let the "bunny" into the lens of the Hasselblad 500 camera, which was filmed on the moon. Radiance, therefore, flare.

But even here not everything is smooth. Why are there no other similar flares anymore? Among the several thousand lunar photographs that capture figures equally strongly drenched in the sun, those surrounded by mysterious flickering clouds, only two. Of all the astronauts who visited the moon before and after Konrad and Bean, only one of them shone. Riddle …

Incidentally, the Aollo 12 mission was perhaps the most compelling. Only she irrefutably testifies that the Americans still landed on the moon. After all, Apollo 12 landed next to the automatic station Surveyor 3, which landed safely here - in the Ocean of Storms - on April 20, 1967. He descended about 160 meters from her. As it was intended.

The astronauts reached the station, photographed it, and took pictures by themselves. In the end, they unscrewed about 10 kilograms of parts from Surveyor-3 and brought them to Earth. We also captured a TV camera, which you can now look at. It is housed in the National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC. What is not proof?

By the way, photography on the Moon is a mysterious process in many ways. No one, for example, can explain why the surface of our natural satellite is silvery in American photographs - approximately the same as it appears to us from Earth, and in Chinese photographs this same surface is brown.
