It seems that giants and dwarfs once lived on earth.

According to the biblical texts, young David defeated the giant Goliath with a sling and thus became the second Jewish monarch. The veracity of this myth was reinforced by the discovery of an earthen vessel containing the oldest Philistine records found to date. An artifact found in Israel in early November 2005 by archaeologists at Tel es-Safi University contains Proto-Canaanite inscriptions with the non-Semitic names Alwt and Wlt, which, according to Dr. Aaron Demski, are similar to the archaic letters of the name Goliath . According to research, this item is genuine, as it was produced only one hundred years after the reign of David.
This find seems to be another piece of the puzzle in a theory ignored by the community of anthropologists and archaeologists, and postulating the coexistence in ancient times of three types of people of different heights: giants, modern humans and dwarfs. There was so much evidence for the existence of these three types of people that scientists had to go to great lengths to "close their eyes" and defend the most accepted linear scheme of evolution.
The existence of a race of "people-hobbits" with an average height of one meter from legends turned into reality in the fall of 2004, when a group of researchers found in Indonesia the bones of small people who could coexist with the present person until only 12 thousand years ago. Although the dating of the extinction of this race was given on the basis of the discovered remains, hypotheses have arisen, suggesting the survival of the descendants of the hobbits in the wilderness of the tropical forests of Indonesia.
However, what many people really ignore is that in the last century, it was not uncommon to find fossils of people three times the height of an ordinary person. In fact, there are so many of them that we can only superficially consider some of them here. The remains of giant people have been found in almost all parts of the globe.
Perhaps the most popular and scientifically recognized case is the "Javanese giant" discovered in the south of China and which is about 300,000 years old. In the southern part of the same state, the remains of a similar person were found, who owned six fingers on each limb. This symptom of polydactyly (abnormal number of toes on the extremities) seems to have been a common standard in this species of people. An excerpt from the Bible says: “There was still a battle in Gath. There was one tall man who had six fingers, [in total] twenty-four. And he was also one of the descendants of Rephaim”(2 Samuel 21:20; 1 Chronicles 20: 6).
Other facts that we can mention, quickly revising the archaeological annals: the graves in Chenini (Tunisia), where the remains of three-meter creatures are buried; a crypt in Bradford (USA), discovered in 1880, where skeletons more than 2 meters in height with strange bulges in the form of horns protruding above the ciliary arches are stacked; the Cretaceous fossil footprints at Glen Rose, Texas, 54.61 by 13.97 centimeters, and which, surprisingly, are located next to the brontosaurus footprints; young giants from Lixus, whose average height at 11 years was about 2 meters 20 centimeters; and, finally, bone remains in Garos, in the Urbas mountain range, in Castile, Medinaseli, Leon, Cantabria and other places (all - Spain).
According to documents, the skeleton of the largest giant found to date is 5.18 meters tall, and it was excavated in 1956 in Cagayan, in the Philippines. Each of its front teeth was 5 centimeters wide and 15 centimeters long. According to scientists, during his lifetime, this person could have a height of 5.40 meters.
However, biological remains are not everything. Some researchers stumbled upon weapons of inconceivable size. 6 kilometers from Safita (Syria), archaeologists found hand axes weighing 3.8 kg. In Morocco, arrowheads measuring 32 x 22 cm and weighing 4.2 kg were found, as well as double-edged axes weighing 8 kg. Due to the size of these tools, only creatures of enormous stature could deftly handle them.
In addition to legends (of which there are indeed many), tools and remains of giants, there is another factor that proponents of the theory of three species put forward as an undeniable argument for the existence of giants: megalithic structures of enormous size, which can be found on almost all continents of the Earth. If we take into account the fact that at present there are no means for moving boulders, commensurate with those used in the construction of the Egyptian pyramids, Stonehenge or moai on Easter Island, then we can begin to doubt very much. Yes, it is true that some of these huge boulders can be moved using the technique that we have been able to develop in modern times, but … how did the ancient people manage it? Perhaps the answer can be found in the existence of this Goliath race.
But to admit that modern humans have only recently coexisted with dwarfs and giants would be to overthrow a lot of ingrained theories and start from scratch. In fact, there is evidence, but there seem to be very few scientists dedicated to studying it. History seems to prove over and over again that well-known myths are grounded in reality, but the pseudoscience of prejudice still plays a role.
And in conclusion, the legends about dwarfs and giants, found in the folklore of almost all peoples of the world, serve as truthful evidence of their existence. If we were ready to face such a reality, to take courage and tear down the cozy refuge of the Learned, then, of course, like a seething in our heads, various questions would rush. How could three such different kinds of people coexist in ancient times? Did they have friendly or hostile social relationships? Did they help each other? Did they ignore each other? What social strata did they have? Could the hobbits be the best fit species (and therefore survivor) today? Could this species be giants? How many more myths from history are waiting to be confirmed by concrete evidence? In truth, this is difficult to answer. Meanwhile,we can only continue to progress at a very slow pace - the narrow path of science. This is for sure that you should take care not to break your face when you come across some other "myth" that might be real.
