The National Aerospace Agency of the United States of America begins accepting applications from private space companies that plan to participate in the development of ships and lander needed to colonize the moon.

It is assumed that if NASA's plans are not thwarted, then people will return to the surface of our natural satellite in ten years.

Astrobotic should become one of NASA's key partners - this private structure is developing the Peregrine lander.

The latter, according to Astrobotic representatives, could become one of the main tools for the delivery of the first wave of astronaut-builders. It is they who will build the first colony on the moon. The Peregrine is a reusable lander that can deliver approximately half a ton of cargo at a time.

Cooperation with private space companies, according to NASA's leadership, will allow the agency to concentrate on developing the SLS super-heavy rocket, which is the most important element of the new American lunar program. Time will tell whether this approach will be successful, but so far there is no reason to doubt NASA's strategy.
