This time, it was not professional archaeologists who were lucky, but a simple handyman. Nevertheless, this find is very important, once again confirming the modern idea of the views on the world order of our distant ancestors. After all, it allows us to draw far-reaching conclusions that the entire vast territory of Western Siberia, Veliky Novgorod and the Don region in ancient times was inhabited by peoples with the same culture!
However, everything is in order … The fact is that the village of Chesmenka, Bobrovsky district, Voronezh region does not have its own good sand. For many kilometers around there is only one black earth. And when, during the repair of the stables at the stud farm, the most ordinary sand was needed, we had to urgently send a tractor with a hinged bucket and several trucks to the neighboring village …
An experienced machine operator Anatoly Petrovich Gribanov, having reached the place, drove on his tractor for the old quarry of a brick factory that was once here and loaded the cars with sand from a new shallow pit. In total, exactly eight cars were loaded with bulk building materials that day.
All the sand after transportation was dumped in Chesmenka in one big heap. After that, the quick construction workers got down to business. Suddenly a piece of metal that had come from nowhere loudly hit the sieve. It turned out that this is a bizarre figure of a man with a palm the size of. As soon as the find was rubbed a little on the robe, it sparkled in the sun like gold. But when the repair workers and the foreman himself looked closely, it turned out that it was still not a precious metal, but something like bronze or some other alloy.
The workers immediately gathered in a group and began to carefully examine their find from all sides. No one has ever seen anything like it in their life. The man's face was of a very unusual shape. The beard protruded wedge forward. And on the head - either a mohawk, like a punk, or a kind of sunny half-disc. One handle was brought to the belt, the other was lost (initially, apparently, it was also brought to the belt). In the whole pose, one felt self-confidence, in one's own strengths and even power. In a word, this is not an ordinary person, but seems to be an inhabitant of the highest heavenly spheres, the ruler of destinies.

After thinking a little about the purpose of the curious little thing, the builders decided to give it away from harm to the director of the Chesme stud farm Nikolai Mikhailovich Chernyshov. His wife, Yana Borisovna, decided to take the metal figurine to Voronezh in order to consult highly qualified specialists there on occasion. But in the everyday hustle and bustle, I put off this matter for the future. As soon as the artifact caught the eye of Goncharov, he immediately remembered that somewhere he had already seen something very similar. I leafed through several albums and books in the library of the Center without haste and finally found what I hoped to find. In one of the chapters of a special edition about the Novgorod archaeological excavations led by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Artemy Vladimirovich Artsikhovsky, almost the same metal figurine was captured on a high-quality color illustration. Even the little man's hands were also rested on his sides. A wedge beard. Here are just not a halo on the head, but only two like a feather or lightning.
This is probably the god Perun
The caption under the photo said that it was presumably an image of the ancient Russian deity Perun. In the text, a more extensive
wording. However, let us give the floor to the authoritative researcher of one of such figurines from Veliky Novgorod, Doctor of Historical Sciences Maria Vladimirovna Sedova:
- A rod of a tetrahedral cross-section with a one-sided flat sculptural image of a human figurine. The rod is made of tin-lead alloy. Its length is five to seven centimeters. The man stands in full height, with his hips on his hips. He is wearing clothes (shirt) up to the knees. The human face is oval, mustached, with large bulging eyes. Most likely, the ancient Russian pagan god Perun is depicted. The item dates back to 30-60 XII century.
The 12th century is already something! After all, as the present historians still think for some reason, the city of Voronezh is much younger.

Arkaim
However, it is not worth dwelling on this date for a long time, because similar metal figurines were found in the famous Arkaim in the South Urals, or rather, near the village of Aleksandrovsky, Bredinsky district, Chelyabinsk region. The Arkaim settlement existed about four thousand years ago on the left bank of the Bolshaya Karaganka River, at its confluence with the Utyaganka River. This monument of the Bronze Age was discovered in 1987 during excavations by the archaeological expedition of S. G. Batalov in the area of the planned construction of the Bolshekaragan reservoir.

The purpose of the numerous small human sculptures found during excavations in Arkaim caused a very heated debate. In the end, scientists came to the conclusion that these are the home gods of our ancestors - the very ones who built the city at about the same time when the Egyptians of the Middle Kingdom were building their famous pyramids.
It is possible that archaeologists of the third millennium will discover a grandiose structure like the black earth Arkaim on the site of the discovery of a metal figurine of an Aryan deity by archaeologists of the third millennium …
