A Reddit user with the nickname "skeletonwar9723" posted a story yesterday about an unusual incident that happened to her a few days ago.
According to her, she still has goosebumps from what happened.
“I left for work at about 9 am and my husband had to stay at home all day with our 5-year-old son. I went home for lunch at 12:30 (and everything was fine at home), and then went back to work.
But at 13.00 I received a call on my phone from an unknown number. Usually I ignore such calls, well, something prompted me to accept an incoming call. And I heard the voice of my son there, he was crying and told me that he had dozed off, and when he woke up, he could not find dad, dad had gone somewhere.
I tried to calm him down, and then said that I would come home again, I still had lunch time. I decided that my husband went to work in his garage or went to take a shower in the bathroom, and my son woke up alone and was just scared because he did not see him next to him.
While I was driving home, I kept in touch with my son by phone, I asked him to stay on the line. I did not hear his voice, but I clearly heard his breathing in the tube. This lasted about 10 minutes, but when I entered our block, the call was disconnected.
I drove up to our house and saw that my husband's car was parked in the yard, the front door was closed. Nearby, a neighbor was unloading bags of groceries from his car and I greeted him and went into the house.

In the living room, my husband and my son were sitting on the couch, the son was watching TV, and the husband was playing a mobile game on his phone. I asked him what had happened and told him about my son's call, but my husband looked very perplexed, he did not understand what I was talking about. And when he understood, he did not believe me.
I, in turn, decided that it was some kind of bad joke from my husband, so I directly asked my son, “Did you call mom and tell her that you could not find dad?”.
The son replied “No. Give me the juice."
He is still too young to lie and pretend so well, so I completely believed that he did not call me. And then I realized that it seemed I was going crazy. I began to ask if my husband left the room and if he gave his son his phone, but he said both times that he did not. And we have no other phones at home.
And then I started looking at the call log on my husband's phone and … there was nothing there. And when I try to call back that unknown number saved in the log of my phone, I always receive only a message that this number is not available.
I perfectly know by ear the voice of my son, there is no doubt that it was he who called me. If he was younger, then yes, but at the age of 5 he already had a distinctly recognizable voice.
Maybe it was some kind of joker or a swindler, but how could he imitate his son's voice so accurately? And besides, he not only spoke, but also cried on the phone.
