The site bfro.net, dedicated to the riddle of Bigfoot (Yeti, Bigfoot), has published another interesting report from eyewitnesses.
This time the eyewitnesses were a whole detachment of American military rangers (US Army Ranger), located on a training mission in the town of Huckleberry Creek, in Washington state.
This place is located in the north of Mount Rainier National Park, and also near the city of Greenwater. Route 410 is nearby.
It happened back in 1982. According to an unnamed eyewitness, he was stationed with his squad at Fort Lewis base that summer, and they were on training missions in the park.
“During the last mission, called Alpine Scramble, we had to cover the distance between points A and B, experiencing navigation problems.
During this journey, our detachment stopped by a stream to rest and eat. The shore was covered with sand and pebbles, and we almost immediately noticed the prints of very large barefoot human feet on the pebbles and sand, and then a few more of the same soft soil a little higher.
The prints were not very long - 36 cm, but very wide - 19 cm. They were also pressed very deeply into the pebbles and soil, that is, they were left by something rather heavy.

For the experiment, we tried to leave the same footprints, and it turned out that we need to stomp very hard on the spot so that our footprints even slightly pressed into the pebbles and sand.
Then we measured the distance between the steps with a tape measure and it turned out to be a little over a meter in length. Such traces can be left by a creature with very long legs.
Since we were running out of time, only about 10 minutes, we could not do anything further, besides, our commander was convinced that all this was just a joke from the military, specially prepared for us.
When we went downstream of the stream, we noticed more prints there, after which they disappeared. It was difficult to tell from them in which direction this creature was going, as well as how fresh these tracks were, I'm not a tracker.
When we returned to the camp, I talked about this case with the instructor, as the other members of my squad were very excited about these tracks. But the instructor suddenly advised me to just forget about it and, moreover, not to tell anyone.
And so we did. However, from then until today, I began to get carried away with stories about Bigfoot and read a lot on this topic.

I do not remember if there was any special smell next to these tracks or something else.

I tried to search for stories about encountering Bigfoot in the area, but found nothing.
