The face recognition system allows you not to carry cash and travel cards with you. As well as documents confirming the right to benefits. The developers believe that such an innovation will be useful for retirees.
- Often a pension certificate is made of paper and it is impossible to carry it without a cover, otherwise it will wear out. Face recognition helps a lot in this case, because you no longer need to carry your ID with you, - shares the application developer Alexander Prozorov.
Also, a big plus of such a system is that you do not need to buy a separate travel card, look for change in your pocket, or wait until the payment goes through.

Now, getting on the bus, you need to find a ticket or money, pay off the conductor … The new system will simplify the process: you just need to freeze for a few seconds in front of a smartphone attached to the railings at the entrance. Then the passenger will receive an electronic ticket on his phone in a special application.

How it works?
In order to pay for the trip using face recognition technology, you will need to download the YouGoPay application, register and photograph your face for the database from several angles. Then the person binds his bank card in the application and can use it.
According to the developer Alexander Prozorov, the system is very sensitive and does not confuse even twins with each other. At the same time, according to him, conductors will not disappear from public transport.
The system reads a person's data, even if he is wearing dark glasses. According to the developer, the main thing for her is the cheekbones, nose and chin.
So far, for face recognition, several conditions are needed: the distance from the tablet to the person, the absence of other faces in the frame. But how do you remove passengers? In the conditions of public transport, it is impossible to ensure desertion, so the developers promise to improve it.
Another camera is installed under the driver's seat, which helps to track passenger traffic, traffic congestion and even … missing people.
- Representatives of law enforcement agencies contact IPOPAT when searching for a person. But we can do nothing to help them, even if a person passed through with a pass - there was no video surveillance on the buses. Now you can just watch the video from the cameras.
