3. Plague in Imanta and the Solution to the Masonic Water Towers

Plague

And now, dear readers, you will feel uneasy. Especially to the residents of Imanta. Move the kids away from the monitors and put them to bed, otherwise they will see your forehead and knees trembling. Take validol if you have a weak heart. After you read to the end, goosebumps will run down your spine, first from bottom to top, and then from top to bottom. On this night you will not be able to sleep for a long time. Some kind of vague anxiety will make you spin for a long time in bed, then, well after midnight, you will feel a slight prick. This is fear, a cold sticky fear will enter your soul. Oh, already it became scary myself.

In the middle of Imanta, not far from the secondary vocational school at Jurmalas Gatve 90, there is a plague medieval burial place. A rectangular area fenced with a moat around the perimeter, on which wooden sculptures are now installed. Climbing inside the perimeter along a narrow wooden path and wandering there for five minutes, you begin to feel some kind of heat and discomfort.

The city duma probably knows about this burial. The jokers from the Kurzeme government installed the sculptures corresponding to the place. God forbid seeing them in the moonlight. My colleague Maris, who was born in Imanta, told me about this burial ground, and his grandfather told him, in turn, and even in kindergarten, teachers frightened naughty children with this ancient cemetery.

Medical scientists are still arguing about how long plague spores can be dangerous to humans. Today it is believed that the probability of getting sick persists for 400-500 years. The World Health Organization recorded diseases in Europe and the Middle East, after construction work on the site of plague medieval cemeteries. What's the worst thing? The worst thing is the closed door, and the unknown that is behind this door. What can happen with us? Groundwater, the negligence of excavation workers, or simply an accident of His Majesty. Let's hope none of this happens. I am afraid that after this publication the prices for "real estate" in Imanta will go down.

Solving the mystery of the Masonic water towers

Over the past five or six years, I have read several times in various publications about the "mystery of water towers." For those who have not heard about this, I will briefly retell this legend. The city has four ancient water towers. The first two are identical in appearance, built in 1896 and 1897 and have the names Anna and Zhanna, they were built near the Matveyevsky cemetery, on the street. Maza Matisa, which in the Middle Ages was called the Street of the Hangers. The towers are built on a sandy hill, on which witches were burned and suicides were buried at the same time.

Again, according to ancient legends, two witches, Anna and Jeanne, were burned here, and from here the towers got their names. The third water tower, named Alice, appeared in 1910 in Pardaugava on ul. Alises. In 1913, the fourth tower was built in Čekurkalns on ul. Gaujas. By the way, this tower has remained unnamed, readers, let's call it something, suggest names. I suggest the name Baiba.

An old legend says that the architect of the first two towers was a Mason, his plan involved the construction of four towers, forming a rectangular occult triangle - the Masonic symbol of wisdom. The architect assumed, but life turned out differently. The third and fourth towers were not erected by him, and we do not know whether the Masons were involved in their construction or not. Further, the legend says that the towers really form a rectangular, isosceles triangle, the point of the right angle is marked by two towers, while at the tops of the sharp corners there is one tower each. In conclusion, we are offered to look at the center of the triangle and supposedly we will see something there and be amazed. They hint at the Templar gold, somewhere hidden by the Freemasons.

Today, satellite can measure distance with an accuracy of ten meters. Let's try to figure it out. First, the right angle is not right, its value is 94 degrees. Secondly, the triangle is not isosceles, the side of Mathis-Alises = 5 km 160 m, the second side of Mathis-Gaujas = 4 km 210 m. The version of the Masonic golden triangle begins to crumble immediately. But how many times in history has it happened that the seekers were one step away from the target, stamped on the spot, looked around, and then left on the wrong track. Therefore, we will go all the way to the end. What is in the middle of the triangle? And what is the middle of it?

Let's see a geometry tutorial. The medians of a triangle intersect at a point called the triangle's center of gravity. This point is located in the courtyard of the house near the intersection of Brivibas and Bruninieku streets. Now it is an asphalt parking lot. I will not tell you how, it is long and uninteresting, but I found an old man who remembered that in this place in the 70s there was not just a pit, but a foundation pit 25 meters in diameter and 4-5 meters deep. Think what you want and draw your own conclusions.

You ask me: "Where is the answer?" And the answer is that if there was gold, then someone had already grabbed his campaign. But I won't take all the glory for myself. More options are possible. Freemasons are smart and cunning people, they could hide some of the gold elsewhere. If a triangle is a Masonic clue, then it still has the centers of the circumcircle and the inscribed circle - the intersection points, respectively, of the perpendiculars and bisectors. I leave the exact search for these points and their examination to subsequent seekers. Let them be lucky.
