The scientist A. Einstein was the first to seriously study the properties of the time stream. He studied in detail the laws of mechanics discovered by Newton, and was able to prove that time can flow in different ways, with accelerations and decelerations. It depends on the position of the object in space, its speed and mass. The higher the speed, the slower the time will go for a given object.
As for the mass, according to Einstein, it increases with increasing speed and is capable of causing disturbances in the space-time module, due to which various chronal anomalies can appear. In particular, the more massive the body, the slower time will flow next to it. Today there are mathematical models that allow the existence of parallel worlds to ours. Also, some researchers of anomalous phenomena believe that it is through such passages that sometimes strange creatures enter our world, and sometimes people "fall through" there, disappearing suddenly in front of everyone. Some of them manage to return back, but not all can clearly explain where they were and how they were able to return.
