The "green madness" that is sweeping the Western world is already having serious economic consequences. But there is every reason to believe that it will be even more interesting further. Especially considering that the two main symbolic figures of the global "green movement", Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes and Greta Thunberg, took off the masks of environmental activists and firmly outlined their real political goals. If they achieve their goal, the world will never be the same, and Russia and China will most likely remain the last islands of common sense in a world that prefers to forget about common sense.

Greta Thunberg, co-authored with two radical activists, published a keynote article entitled “Why are we protesting again”, in which the authors honestly admit that their struggle to “save the planet” requires the destruction of the existing political and economic system: “This action must be powerful and large-scale. After all, the climate crisis isn't just about the environment. It is a crisis of human rights, justice and political will. Colonial, racist and patriarchal systems of oppression created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all.”

For those unfamiliar with the specific language of radical green activists, some translation of the key concepts used in this manifesto is required. In their conceptual apparatus, the “patriarchal system of oppression” is any society with traditional values, in which men are men, women are women, and the family is a union between a man and a woman, which, among other things, provides for the upbringing of the next generation of earthlings. By the way, environmental activists of this kind often urge to refrain from having children - also in the name of saving the climate. Moreover, among young people in Anglo-Saxon countries, where propaganda of this kind is working at full capacity, these views are becoming more and more popular.

“Racist and colonial systems” are societies in which certain ethnic or racial minorities, on average, earn less than the majority. An excellent example of this pseudologic is Europe, where the following position is quite common: the only reason why migrants more often commit crimes and earn less than local residents is the racism and xenophobia of the locals themselves. With them, according to the logic of Greta and her colleagues, it is precisely necessary to fight to save the planet's climate. It is worth emphasizing the incredible cynicism of such activists in general: it is very difficult (although sometimes it is possible) to find their protests about the fact that a significant part of cobalt - the metal needed for the batteries of their beloved electric vehicles, such as, for example, Tesla - is mined by African children in slaves conditions. This well-known fact does not in any way affect the factwith what persistence supporters of "green madness" are promoting the replacement of cars with electric vehicles.

Greta Thunberg's manifesto is consonant with another important document, which to one degree or another has already been included in the program of one of the US presidential candidates from the Democratic Party - the Green New Deal of the young socialist congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The publication of this document in the USA turned into a terrible scandal, because in the accompanying materials the headquarters of the young and promising politician honestly admitted that this is not an environmental program to save the climate, but a political program under the guise of ecology. Moreover, among the most memorable ideas reflected in the document are such gems as the "ban on beef" (the planners were very sorry that they would not be able to completely eliminate the cow population in the United States in ten years), the de facto ban on the use of air transport (according to the authors were also very worried about the impossibility of getting rid of the planes together with the cows for ten years), a guaranteed allowance (sufficient for life and "economic security") for those who "cannot or do not want to work",as well as the transition to one hundred percent "green energy" - that is, the abandonment of coal, oil, natural gas and nuclear power plants.

In the United States, these plans have not yet begun due to Donald Trump, who generally hints: the more Democrats promote the idea of banning meat, airplanes and oil, the more chances that voters will vote for him again.

The European Union does not yet have its own Trump, but there are politicians who want to meet the "green madness", and the results of such actions are already visible, and then these consequences will only increase, because the new head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, is already promoting his own version of the Green Deal.

To assess the consequences of the decisions already made, it is enough to look at what the European media and respectable consulting companies write. The consequences of the completely insane strategy of introducing "green energy" into the German energy system are described by the famous American consulting company, which Forbes quotes: “McKinsey makes the most serious warning when it comes to the increasingly unreliable energy supply to Germany due to its heavy dependence on intermittent solar and wind power. For three days in June 2019, the German power system was approaching a power outage.”

Last month, France 24 reported massive protests by German farmers who are blocking roads as new 'climate restrictions' rob them of food, money and hope for the future: “Thousands of farmers have brought their tractors to German cities to protest against a new agricultural government policies that they say will undermine their livelihoods and scapegoat for climate change. Long convoys of tractors stopped traffic at major protests in Berlin and Bonn, where federal government offices are located, and thousands of other tractors hummed their horns and blocked roads in cities such as Munich, Hanover and Stuttgart.

The consequences of the "green madness" have reached the main gem of the industrial crown of Germany - its carmakers. "Mercedes-Benz owner Daimler and Audi (a Volkswagen brand) have announced the loss of more than 20,000 jobs, the first real sign of the enormous human cost of the industry's transition from combustion to electric vehicles," reports the Financial Times. “Daimler said it would cut over ten thousand jobs over the next two years, adding the Mercedes-Benz owner to a devastating series of job losses in the German auto industry. The cost of investing in electric vehicles and pressure from falling sales and profits are driving a major restructuring of the entire industry. The loss of 50,000 jobs was announced this year.”

In the new "green economy", which is now being built in Europe (and, possibly, they will try to build it in the USA), it is difficult to find a place for nuclear scientists and oilmen, it is hard for car mechanics and farmers to live in it. In such an economy, there will be little room for traditional values and meat lovers. But in such a pseudo-ecological economy there will be privileged places for illegal migrants, for fighters for the prerogatives of various minorities and recipients of various subsidies: from unprofitable electric vehicles to economically uncompetitive wind turbines that cannot provide uninterrupted power to the energy system. If this goes on, then the most paradoxical flow of tourists from the European Union can reach Russia, because only in Russia (and in China, but we are closer), it will be possible to calmly eat natural (not soy) meat and drive a roaring gasoline sports car without the tourist being tormented by conscience and the "environmental morality police" represented by social media activists. This, of course, is a joke - but this is the very joke in which there can be a serious and rather bitter share of truth for the victims of the "green madness".
