Proverbs sometimes hide not just interesting thoughts, but also clues to mysterious, and sometimes at the same time terrible events. Probably, each of us has come across an amazing and frightening phenomenon: fear, hatred, cruelty, shown by one person, unexpectedly covers the people around him

Why is this happening? Here the well-known proverb comes to mind: "A bad example is contagious." Indeed, only "contagion" can explain the unexpected, almost instantaneous transformation of a person: the good suddenly becomes evil, the delicate - senselessly cruel …

Here is a good example of such a transformation. In one Volga village at the beginning of the 20th century, cows began to get sick. The veterinarian who arrived examined the animals, but could not figure out the causes of the disease. I must say that in almost any Russian village there is a man or woman who is notorious, to put it simply, a witch or a sorcerer, or just a person with an evil eye. There was such a woman in that village. It was she who became the "scapegoat". The crowd gathered at the house of the unfortunate began to administer the "right judgment". The enraged women first beat the "witch", then, as if mad, trampled her already lifeless body with their feet, on which not a single living place remained! Then they themselves could not believe that they had done this terrible act …

Just do not think that such a "contagion" of murder affects only illiterate rural women. In the capital, the mother of the raped and deceased girl, seeing how the detained on suspicion of the guy was being carried around the yard, shouted: "Hit him!" And the crowd, which consisted of several dozen normal, law-abiding people, in a few minutes tore a man to pieces, who, as it turned out later, was innocent.

Both of these cases clearly demonstrate how rapidly the viruses of evil and hatred are spreading.

Dark Forces - the Aborigines of the Astral

Before the Revolution, a solid study of the Russian scientist, professor of theology M. V. Lodyzhensky's "Mystical Trilogy". The book was intended for clergymen who faced in their practice cases of "infection" with evil.

“If we remember the very rapid enslavement of the mass of people by emotions and the enormous power of the latter in the crowd, then we will have to come to the conclusion that in general all mysterious phenomena of the mass psyche can be correctly explained only in terms of the direct influence of the emanation (force) of thought or psychophysical energy, - wrote Lodyzhensky. - This energy is completely elusive by devices, but at the same time it strongly affects the thought and will of a person, hypnotizing people with walking views until a new ideological fad turns out to be stronger and takes possession of the masses. And here we firmly enter the realm of the astral world - the world to which not only the astral part of our soul (responsible for emotions and passions) belongs, but also the “aborigines” of the astral plane, the elemental spirits inhabiting it.

In religion, we call them collectively "dark power." How do these "dark forces" work? According to Lodyzhensky, they act selectively, as invisible viruses that cause terrible epidemics among people. Like the causative agent of an ordinary disease, not all people catch the evil virus, but only those whose body is weakened, the spiritual immunity to evil is lowered. In this case, the emanation of someone else's evil thought or idea falls into a suitable nutrient medium and begins to quickly and successfully develop into a disease - first spiritual, and then physical.

Gradual infection

Medieval philosophers were convinced that all diseases - both mental and physical - penetrate the human body through the eyes. From time immemorial, it was the eyes that were considered the door through which not only the soul enters the body or leaves it, but also small harmful spirits-demons that live in evil people penetrate.

Having penetrated into the human body, demons - viruses of evil, or information viruses, as they are sometimes called today - infect the mind. It contains the personal world of a person, its most intimate part. And it is on consciousness, first of all, that the influence of the evil virus affects. This is the most dangerous type of invasion. At first, the effect of it may be barely noticeable. The victim begins to suspect that her thoughts are no longer only her own or that the idea has been introduced to her from the outside. At first, a person struggles internally, trying to deny the intrusion that has already begun to control him: "I must have imagined this voice." Then there are blackouts in memory, telepathic messages or strange visions take control of his actions. A person doubts his sanity, the correctness of his perception of the world around him. And in the end the time comeswhen someone so masters him that a person no longer notices the loss of reason.

The phenomenon of the crowd

In addition to the gradual infection with evil viruses, there is another rapid and, perhaps, more dangerous in its manifestations of infection. It takes place in a crowd. Evil viruses, like ordinary harmful microbes, act in this case faster, and the result of their manifestation is worse. Examples of such a massive infection, leading to a complete eclipse of the mind and the commission of brutal murder, have already been mentioned.

The reason for such a quick infection and a terrible denouement is the state of trance into which people who have united in a crowd fall. “The phenomenon of the crowd is as old as humanity itself,” says Professor Anatoly Zhuravlev, head of the Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. - Ditav Le Bon called a crowd a gathering of people in which “… the conscious personality disappears, and the feelings and ideas of all the individual units that form a whole called the crowd take the same direction. A collective soul is formed, which, of course, is of a temporary nature, but also very specific features … Whatever the individuals that make it up, - the psychologist emphasizes, - whatever their way of life, knowledge, their character or mind, one of their transformation into the crowd is enough for them to have a kind of collective soul that makes them feel, think and act completely differently than each of them would think and act separately."

The spiritual vacuum is being filled. Than?

Now imagine that an evil virus is planted into this collective soul, when the mind of each of the participants fades away. It was brought by an already infected person who at some point became the leader of the crowd. This leader becomes a kind of fuse, from which the virus of evil instantly spreads and, like a fire, engulfs all people.

The evil virus has become especially dangerous in our time in Russia. At first, for decades, people were convinced of the immorality of the Bible with its preaching and achieved a brilliant effect in this. Instead of the Kingdom of God, they proposed a bright future - communism, where everyone will work as much as possible and receive as needed. Then this "ghost" was destroyed. As a result, instead of moral norms, many modern Russians have a vacuum in their souls, filled with bloody militants and low-standard tales of a sweet life. And all this takes place against the background of a craze for specific music, which quickly drives into a trance and transforms people who come to the concert into the crowd. An increased interest in Eastern sects, which, with the help of meditation, also turn people into a crowd, into which it is easy to plant any viruses, plays an important role here.

What can a person who is forced to live in such a world to oppose to this? Probably only love for people, for their native culture, for their homeland. But this is also not so little.
