After the collapse of the Warsaw Pact organization, and then the collapse of the Soviet Union, the countries of Eastern Europe and some former Soviet republics reoriented themselves to joining NATO and to fully comply with commands from Washington. They are confidently heading towards confrontation with Russia, often behave quite arrogantly, even contemplating full guarantees of their security from the United States. Only now they often forget about how the West usually fulfills its guarantees. Let's look at a few of these cases.

1939 year. Germany is negotiating with Poland to provide a corridor to the city of Danzig. But the proud lords, believing in the guarantees of Britain and France, twist a fig for the Germans and gradually begin mobilization and anti-German propaganda. Then they organize the Danzig massacre. Why should they be afraid? They were promised protection…. Further, the lords generally “blows away”, and such statements are heard from them;
On August 24, Poland shoots down two civilian aircraft of the Lufthansa company; on August 30, German consul August Schillinger was killed in Krakow.

And what's interesting is that they sincerely believe that the invincible British fleet and thousands of French Zouaves are about to come. And they rolled Germany into a ram's horn. But the reality was not so rosy. Germany attacks Poland on September 1st. And on September 3, England and France declare war on Germany. That's just a strange war. The troops are sitting along the borders, drinking, shooting at the Germans is prohibited. Allied aircraft "bomb" Germany with leaflets. That's the whole war.
Clear? Bother. That is, when they are reminded to fulfill their guarantees, they immediately get bored of it.
I think everyone knows what happened next with Poland.
Further, the British abandoned France, hastily evacuated from Dunkirk. But not only that, they carry out Operation Catapult, in fact they shoot the fleet of their ally France. These are the allys.
1941 year. Germany attacks Greece. The Greeks resist as best they can. At that time, there were British and New Zealand troops in Greece. And what are they doing while the Greeks are fighting? That's right, they are running.
1945 year. England, USA and USSR are allies. And what plan are the British developing? The plan for Operation Unthinkable is correct. The only thing that saved us from the start of the war was that our troops had time to regroup.
1975 year. The American army flees South Vietnam, leaving its ally in the South Vietnamese army.

2019 year. The American army abandoned its Kurdish allies in Syria.
