However, ufologists believe that everything was completely different. In particular, some of them put forward a version that once upon a time there was a whole settlement of aliens on the planet, some kind of city or city. At the same time, there, in an amazing way, stone fortresses of the kind that were on the Earth of past centuries were combined with the knowledge of atomic energy. Actually, it is the latter that experts blame for the complete decline and decline of Martian life. Ufologists say that there were some very careless experiments with atomic energy, and everything was destroyed by a very large-scale nuclear explosion, which hypothetically turned out to be so powerful that it even led to a decrease in the weight of Mars. True, they accordingly move the timing of such a catastrophe much further than official science says with the version about space bombing.

Then there would be some fragments of them - a high-tech city of metal, for example, as science fiction writers often mention in their opuses. However, metal debris is present on Mars, being exclusively space debris - parts of the crashed automatic earthly spacecraft.
Ufologists say in response that it's all about conspiracy theory. Perhaps some pieces of metal would have been noticeable if the rest of the scientific world did not hide it. They show two photographs of the same place from different years. It turns out that for some reason the details in the two frames do not converge. Ufologists say that the point here is not in natural changes in the relief, as one might think, but in the fact that the American aerospace agency NASA, on whose website the above picture is taken, decided to hide the information.
