Londoner Jamie Poole suffers from a heart condition in which his heart muscle has thickened and become less efficient.

In medicine, this is called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.

Because of this, in recent years, Jamie has been in a state of clinical death 9 times, including 4 times in the last three weeks.

Everything always happens completely suddenly. Here Jamie is quite healthy and active, he has no pain and his heart works as expected. But after a couple of seconds, he already lies without a heartbeat on the sidewalk, on a treadmill or in the airport hall.

Doctors advise a man not to overexert himself, but Jamie does not like to stay at home, but loves to lead an active lifestyle and travel. Because of which he regularly dies.

Now Jamie is 29 years old, and he was first diagnosed with heart disease 9 years ago, when he fell with no signs of life and lay in a coma for a week.

Then for two and a half years he was doing well, but when he just went to work in the morning, he suddenly lost consciousness and fell. The fourth, fifth and sixth times also happened when he went to work in the morning. After that, Jamie took a break from work.

For the seventh time, he died when, after returning to work, he went to a cafe for lunch. It started to rain and Jamie ran to take cover and felt bad when he returned from his run to the office.

For the eighth time, he died while at the airport, intending to fly to Australia. And the ninth and final case so far occurred while exercising on a treadmill during physical therapy in a hospital.

Now a special defibrillator is inserted into Jamie's body, which is supposed to start his heart at the next stop. Also now he is not advised to even climb the stairs, let alone run. Otherwise, his heart is unlikely to last more than 5 years.

Despite all this, Jamie Poole tries to remain optimistic and enjoy life.

In the future, Jamie wants to go for a heart transplant, as doctors increasingly scare him that he has only a few years left.
