Here's a news situation for you: two men, 67 and 69 years old, have collected nineteen kilograms of porcini mushrooms - seventeen kilograms more than the allowed norm. According to the federal law on nature conservation, no more than one kilogram of mushrooms per person can be collected in the forest. The prohibited cargo was found in the trunk by the police and imposed a fine of 124,000 rubles.

It is interesting that the confiscated mushrooms will not be thrown away, they will be donated to charitable organizations. Well, it is also worth clarifying that, according to the law, it is possible to collect no more than one kilogram of mushrooms per person PER DAY. Of course, the police do not stand at the exit from the forest and do not check everyone in a row. Just one of the local residents called the police and said that he saw two pensioners carrying a lot of mushrooms from the forest. So they were accepted. As far as I have heard, this is quite a normal situation "in Europe". Sometimes you don't even know if it's good or bad.
